@Patrici46633494 Was there last Sept/Oct. All good where we went..from N Yorks, Lancs, Ches, South Wales, Bournemouth, outskirts London, Midlands. Yes, maybe some inner city areas run down but definitely still great where we went. Lovely holiday.

@AllBiteNoBark88 I was a Brit too, married to an Australian and two Aus children. Before 1982 British citizens could vote in Australia. This changed then.
I became an Aus citizen and have since held dual nationality, something not all countries allow (ie Germany). Really it's not hard !

@RositaDaz48 I paid UK death duties when my mother died in 2000. The first 300000 pounds were exempt (from memory) and tax payable on anything above that. Equates to $600000 depending on exchange rate. Honestly, why shouldn't that happen...might finally tax the rich

@eligaultney @charliekirk11 Stop making generalisations. Same here in Australia, but lots of private companies are allowing their employees to work from home too. Most of my neighbours are doing 3 days home/ 2 days in office since Covid. Companies save on rent (less space needed) and it saves commuting time
