@PDBrownOnc Almost 30% absolute increase in OS attributed to local control of a single brain met? Hmmmm... Something smells like selection bias pretttty strong here...
I would argue the MCQs are like a written test for a fighter pilot. A human (or AI) who only studied for the MCQ wouldn't be able to proficiently fly the fighter jet. But someone trained on flying the fighter jet should be able to get the answers as a byproduct of being proficient in flying. It's the next version of Dr. Google
@DrSpratticus@TonyFelefly@CanesDavid Don't mean to hijack, but let's say you have a 78 yoM with standard template: 3 cores positive. GG2 30% involved, GG2 40% involved, and a GG4 2% core involved. I hate calling him high risk... I always wondered how cumulative percentage of grade group over all cores would perform
π¨ WOW. Ohio attorney Mehek Cooke CONFIRMS MASSIVE fraud in Ohio, another hotbed for Somalis
They run fake "home health" and bill $250,000 PER YEAR, per FAMILY, when no work is actually being done
She says it also happens in PENNSYLVANIA
"Audit America. Audit Ohio now. And I'm pushing for that in every single state!"
"The state will, as long as the doctor has approved it, continue to pay you. It could be for 10 hours, 12 hours, up to 24 when it's critical care."
"So you could sit at home without caring for an elderly parent who really doesn't need it, make about $75,000 to $90,000 a year. Now you add two parents, that's $180,000. Now you add your in-laws $250,000."
"You continue to add this and you wonder what are the services being provided? So a lot of providers came and said fraud is occurring because we said we weren't going to rubber stamp this paperwork."
"So they went to other providers, their home health care networks saying we'll make it worth your while. Well, sounds like a kickback to me."
"So we really need to investigate the Medicaid system and how much it's increased since the Somalian population came and who really needs critical care because that's meant for our disabled, our elderly and people who really need it, not to just live off our system."
"And that's what's happening in Ohio. I think it's ridiculous. I think it's despicable, but authorities are now looking at it from the Attorney General's office to the U.S. Attorney's office."
"I flagged them all because this is Ohio tax dollars and we have to take it seriously. I'm tired of people telling me, well, this is the way it's always been. It's subjective and we can't really check. No, you can." @MehekCooke
I don't really see the appeal of single fraction SBRT for lung ca. If it's nicely placed floating in the middle of lung, upper lobes for minimal movement, great. But, has CW toxicity really been fleshed out? I sincerely appreciate the work being done to explore it as an option, I find it very useful with oligometastatic disease with several lesions however. Like 'SRS' for lung. Happy to learn if you something further to share.
@ScottAdamsSays Radiation Oncologist here, you need laminectomy stat! I know surgery probably doesn't sound appealing but a laminectomy is very tolerable. They need to start Decadron 10mg loading then 4mg q6h. Radiation is an alternative, but not as good getting function back.
Lead author must have gotten tired of the 'Ivermectin talk' with cancer patients, decided to do his own data torturing in an academic form of 'Nah uhhh brehhh, COVID vaccines cure cancer...' I could think of 10 huge confounders off the top of my head... And we wonder why we have lost trust...
