People pay me to do things they don't want to do themselves, be it Uninteresting, difficult, dangerous, etc.
That's the premise of work.

@RRSkunkWorks @NordishDynamite No, what you're thinking of is expansion. That's when compressed air expands rapidly cooling down. A similar effect to how A/C works. The compressor lives outside; the expansion chamber lives inside and air is circulated over it. There's a few more parts.

Go on Indeed and search for entry level welding jobs. The listings are sparse and the starting pay is about the same as a job chopping fries at In-N-Out.

Don't do this.

Breakers are emergency safety devices and have a way more limited trip count. You can use a light switch 10,000 times, a breaker may only be 200(for example).
I HAVE encountered breakers that were welded closed (Energized).

As in you want the ground voltage, but you don't want to drain through that path.

Why haven't the All In guys big timed Ro Khanna? Say they'll match him 250MM for the Trump Accounts. That will leave Ro with a "mere" 250MM. His kids won't miss any meals. Those guys could put an end to the wealth tax talk easily.

ERCOT is a good example of it being done well.

New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.

Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.

Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.

A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
