All this hand-wringing over capex from Facebook, Microsoft, Google and other new entrants is unnecessary.
When products are this good and improving this fast, we won't overbuild; if anything, we'll be constrained by physics and regulation.
And these machines will last a decade, as software gets relentlessly more efficient and we find creative uses for older clusters.
Earnings will be absurd in the next five years, as companies like Microsoft, Uber, Tesla, Robinhood, and Meta have revenue per employee DOUBLE every 3-4 years.
Pay attention to revenue and earnings per employee.
Before The League launched, Amanda Bradford threw boat parties and MBA mixers where the only way in was having the app on your phone. She raised $2M right after launch. Would this work for your startup? Consumer? B2B? Or only dating? @amandabradford@TheLeague@Jason

@TheWiseIC@drayinvests This is all a function of price... if uber is undervalued, the overvalued stocks will make a run at them.
if uber becomes appropriately priced again ($100-120 a share), they will buy companies -- if not, it makes more sense for uber to buy their own shares back!
@muneeb An intelligent response! Didn’t expect that from the bitcoin community
Please outline why bitcoin should be worth 150-200k? Is this just momentum, gut or a based on what assumptions
Having hired many Project Titan team members over the years at Rivian, I can say it wasn't a lack of talent.
Rather, a lack of will.
Apple's leadership couldn't see its way through two very hard problems: autonomy and manufacturing.
The solution to manufacturing was always vertical integration. But Apple, hooked on outsourced manufacturing, couldn't see the path.
As for autonomy, we know Tesla FSD is the way.
Perhaps Apple could have partnered with Tesla early in the game. At the time, one of Tesla's biggest advantages was its fleet data.
Consider Apple's entire vehicle data collection fleet running around the Bay Area a few years ago. There were probably more Teslas in the parking lot, collecting real-world driving data on Apple employees' commutes every day, than Apple had dedicated test vehicles.
Apple had the talent (or could hire it). It had the money. What it couldn't do was figure out how to build a car on the terms the problem demanded.
$UBER just added 300+ Key Food supermarkets across the Northeast and Florida to Uber Eats
These are independently owned stores that could never build their own delivery network, so Uber becomes their digital storefront
Grocery is quietly turning into one of Uber’s biggest growth levers 👀
Can’t believe Apple invested $10B into the Apple car and gave up…
All their cash, stores and brand loyalty — they would have made something really interesting and owned the fourth screen
