@kelvmackenzie There are workers that will vote for any party that bans retired people from voting. There are lots of voters that know nothing of life and finance, including some with dementia. The purpose of the vote isn't to prove understanding of anything, but to legitimize government.

@fisher4maryland @mddems Let's face it, putting condom machines is easier and cheaper than working out the technical issues of the electrical grid. And upgrading the grid doesn't typically lower the costs of electricity to start with, unless somebody who isn't the customers is paying.
