I imagine a situation wherein a county could have so many citizens working on the taxpayers dime that they actually have total control of local elections...
,,, and like Congress they vote themselves raises and workfare ev... mmmmmm nah that's crazy talk, couldn't happen, no way...
@TracesofTexas Currently watching an old Charlie Chan movie. Chan's ride was a super sweet woodie.
If I had to choose between Roy's boots and the woodie it would be a hard one.
@RonDeSantis I thought Ike should get a third term, and was shocked to learn he was barred. I still feel he might have done better than either Kennedy or Nixon. So I have mixed feelings about term limits, but that is a great idea :p
@RonDeSantis At least the truth can travel as fast as a lie these days.
Back on Twain's day, a lie could go around the world before the truth could get its pants on.
@cattleguy92 On the one hand, conifers do sometimes make nasty and surprisingly plastic-ish odors when burnt. Also peat.
On the other hand, I am right there with you...
To be fair, academia should be naturally self-balancing, as an artifact of rational discourse and critical thought.
It would be hard for me to give cash power to what is likely a bunch of bolshitvik moles (or will become one), no matter how much I had, or how easy it was for me to get.
@SecondAmendment I should pay attention to the fact that I have no idea what you are talking about - but apathy rules. O well wot the hell, back to my nap.
zzzzzzzz...
@daily_cowboy There is no home hospice for wildlife. No pain meds, or even pizza delivery. Do Disney-tards really believe that a well placed bullet is the most tragic of outcomes for a former Alpha?
@PblcLndNtnlst Thanks for the permit. You got some evidence I believe that? I will wait. Even though I usually don't waste time on second rate fallacy mongers.
Really? Care to give examples? When pain forced Doc Holiday to OD on opium there were "far-reaching consequences"?
When Sears was selling opium to school kids to "make money during the summer" there must have some. Horrific situation! But what were they?
OTOH, organized crime siezed near total control of the streets of New York City almost immediately after the triple whammy of drug, alcohol and gun prohibition. Is that a far- reaching consequence?
