Hey, I’ve been working on fire alarms with all types of smoke detectors for a few years and all of them have 1 thing in common, something to consider:

Smoke detectors don’t know the difference between Smoke, Dust, Hairspray, Deodorant, Lysol, etc.

It’s pretty much any micro particle in the air that disrupts the internal sensor causing the alarm.

I worked in many hotels with smoke detectors in guest rooms and housekeeping always activates them when they clean the room and spray Febreeze.
