Gold for Israel in mathematics! 🥇🧮🇮🇱 Congratulations to Yotam Budnik, a 12th grader from Rehovot, for winning a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Shanghai, China. Competing against over 600 students from 117 countries, Yotam earned one of the competition's highest honors after solving six exceptionally challenging mathematical problems. In addition to his gold medal, the rest of the Israeli team left the competition with one silver and 4 bronze medals.

In '58, he ran again for the Senate and lost again.

And in 1860 ABRAHAM LINCOLN was elected President of the United States of America 🇺🇸.
He was elected for two exceptional terms (he was assassinated in beginning of the second term.) He was one of the most respected and impactful Presidents in the history of the United States 🇺🇸.

It's important to tell this story of perseverance because we see the hero, but we don't see the backstage of the afflictions. "

The Jews.

Freedom. Equality. The inherent value of every individual. And education as a universal right.

These ideas weren’t born in Rome or Athens but at Sinai, and were preserved throughout history by the Jewish people.

The founders didn’t just look to “Western values.”

They looked to the Torah.

They saw ancient Israel and the Jewish people as the ultimate model of a free people bound not by force but by covenant. Governing themselves under a shared sacred law.

And America was their attempt to do it again.
