@RalphDeLuca72 @on_running @femontini I’ve had the same issue. The soles of my cloud 5 trainers have pealed away from the outer fabric. I only use the for walking and didn’t expect this poor quality. Can’t have done more than 100 miles What can be done about this? The shoes are only 18 months old.

#greatadaptations. Facultative adaptations in this case. Mediated by evolved epigenetic mechanisms. It is often hard to figure out if epigenetic effects are adaptations or epiphenomena, but this one sure seems like an adaptation.

I’m uneasy with this. Not because I dont teach students - I do, enthusiastically. But the idea students don’t gain anything if they’re not “taught”. Don’t you learn from hearing patients’ stories? And from observing clinician with patients, whether or not they interact with you?
