Pelaksanaan Kumpulan Berkaitan Diagnosis (DRG) dalam Sistem Kesihatan Negara

KKM komited memperkukuh sistem penjagaan kesihatan melalui pelaksanaan Kumpulan Berkaitan Diagnosis (Diagnosis-Related Group, DRG) sebagai satu mekanisme penyeragaman pengkelasan kes dan bayaran rawatan.

Pelaksanaan DRG bertujuan untuk:
1️⃣ Menggalakkan penjagaan kesihatan berasaskan nilai (value-based healthcare)
2️⃣ Meningkatkan kecekapan perkhidmatan dan ketelusan kos
3️⃣ Mengoptimumkan penggunaan sumber secara berhemah
4️⃣ Mengelakkan rawatan yang tidak perlu atau berlebihan

Di sektor kesihatan swasta, pelaksanaan DRG dilaksanakan secara rentas agensi melalui pendekatan whole-of-nation, selaras dengan Strategi RESET, serta dipantau oleh Jawatankuasa Bersama Peringkat Menteri bagi Kos Penjagaan Kesihatan Swasta (JBMKKS).

Sehingga kini, 80 daripada 104 hospital swasta telah menyertai latihan DRG melibatkan 23 sesi latihan, mencerminkan tahap penerimaan dan komitmen yang positif daripada pihak hospital swasta.

Pelaksanaan sistem DRG ini memastikan kadar bayaran rawatan ditetapkan secara adil, telus dan berasaskan keperluan klinikal, demi manfaat pesakit dan kelestarian sistem kesihatan negara.
