💉Did you know our scientists are currently pioneering a chlamydia vaccine?
Currently there is no jab to protect from chlamydia but research from @DrKatPollock, @Dr_HMCheeseman & @robin_shattock shows that an early vaccine can induce an immune response.👇

Excited to be at the @Imperial_INVaR symposium listening to some great talks by @robin_shattock @DrKatPollock@ChrisChiuLab
We've achieved a huge amount over the past 3 years and it's great to get together to discuss the future @ImperialInfect
@robin_shattock Thank you, Robin. Fantastic to be part of such a wonderful consortium and to present all the clinical trial updates from the past few years! @eavi2020
Great to be back at a face to face meeting talking about HIV vaccine research with a fabulous group of scientists from all over Europe @eavi2020 @robin_shattock #Brussels#hiv#vaccines
I’ll continue wear a mask in crowded spaces, public transport, shops & at work. Improve ventilation. Test regularly & avoid others if +ve test. Go to work, meet others, pub/cinema/restaurants/gym as long as I have - No symptoms of COVID. Review end March. https://t.co/8FDA9014lp
“Integrity matters and so does the way people behave...it’s made it a lot harder to communicate the core messages that people need to hear”
@robin_shattock says that integrity plays a big part in whether people believe the Covid messaging. #bbcqt
Please wear mask indoors,on public transport,do what can be done to improve ventilation, test regularly, stay home if symptoms, support those who need to isolate. Do have COVID & flu vaccines. Vaccine Plus. Take such measures now & avoid more restrictions https://t.co/7rGRonqEMf
@Faradayfan001@TfL@SadiqKhan Thank you for clarifying that. However, if they have TfL uniform/emblem on, they are representing the company and should be setting an example.
Will the pandemic fade into an ordinary disease like the flu?
The world is watching Denmark for clues 👇🏻
Interesting read from @kakape https://t.co/mnon0oOD6t
I can't emphasize enough how well vaccines are working against Delta, especially preserving their > 90% effectiveness vs severe illness.
Its high transmissibility (cf prior variants) & prevalence is leading to more infections among vaccinees that are mostly w/o symptoms or mild.
