@EilidhPdx Just wondering if these cuts to PPS staff will also require students with disabilities to be pushed into general eduction Math, Science, English, and Social Studies classes?
PE is an academic subject that requires trained Adapted PE teachers to deliver specially designed content.

Quality PE is necessary for educating the whole child. State boards must choose to educate the whole child. The practices exhibited on a daily basis in PE settings are directly applicable to all currently NEEDED content and life skills in the USA. @SHAPE_America @PPSConnect

On December 10, 2015 the Every Student Succeeds Act was signed by President Obama replacing NCLB.
This law replaced “the core academic subjects” with “a well-rounded education”.
Physical Education is extremely important to an enriched curriculum.
