@SarahBrandler I think getting the students to create graphic organizers is a great way to assess our student’s knowledge. Another way could be student lead discussions, so you can here what the students think and know. To understand what still needs to be taught.

@emilylrut I think the best way to teach a child responsibility is with consequences. This doesn’t mean severe punishment, but it can be as simple as a verbal scold. This will help students see that their actions have consequences.

@katherinemossau I feel like these private schools do help those who are fortunate enough to attend them. However, most families do not have the funds to send their children to private schools.

@emilylrut I feel positive feedback is good for the whole class, because it shows the students that a specific behavior gets praised. It also shows the children that a negative behavior gets nothing in return.

@EmilyHethcox I feel as if America holds such a high bar when it comes to education that we do not provide accommodations for these students, because we just expect them to speak our native language.
