All those “feels” you got while watching @chernobylhbo. How you felt “holy crap, how’re we alive?” Just know, we’re currently in the midst of another mass human extinction outcome. The amount of CO2 in the air is 1000x scarier. It’s real. Try harder @AndrewScheer@JustinTrudeau

@AndrewScheer hey man, we have a really important election coming up. How about laying off the attack adds and letting us know the specifics of your platform? It’s getting sad...
@LeoDiCaprio@HBO I’m so very happy that the tide has finally turned to highlighting solutions! People need to know, believers and deniers alike, that this battle can be won and that there are solutions. From my children, my wife, myself, and (hopefully) my future grandchildren, thank you.
For those who think that Canada is too small to make a difference in restoring a sustainable world climate... Yes, although dwarfed by US and China’s, our cumulative CO2 emissions rank 9th in the world! In context, population-wise, we rank 38th! Express your concern to local MPs!
Animation: The countries with the largest cumulative CO2 emissions since 1750
Ranking as of the start of 2019:
1) US – 397GtCO2
2) CN – 214Gt
3) fmr USSR – 180
4) DE – 90
5) UK – 77
6) JP – 58
7) IN – 51

Today is #EarthDay. Unless we take bold action to reverse climate change, future generations will look back and ask a very simple question: "Where were they? Why didn’t the United States of America lead on preventing the devastating damage that scientists were sure would come?"
Mr. Scheer, I am a concerned and undecided Ontario voter in the Windsor-Essex riding. My main worry is climate change. I’ve previewed your online platform and only seen a plan to scrap the carbon tax. What exactly is your plan after doing so?@AndrewScheer @BrianMasseMP
President Trump. You're not smarter than 99% of climate scientists who agree that climate change is not a hoax. It is not "fake news." It is real and will devastate millions. We are going to defeat you and move aggressively to address this crisis.
@needanido I couldn`t agree more with the sentiment! It`s troubling to think that you don`t have full control over the information that you consume. I love the meme by the way! Very relevant to media redlining (and my favourite film)!
@ellswor1@Lancers92 Unfortunately, I think it is going to get worse before it gets better. Especially now that the US has squashed net neutrality. Companies are going to come up with even more new, innovative, and evil things to digitally drain our wallets.
As I scroll through all of the Tweets/Replies, I can`t help but point out that, after every 10 or so posts, Twitter has inserted an advertisement. I`m not an avid Twitter user, so I don`t think the logarithms have me figured out yet. I`m a Trident man! I hate Dentyne! #unboundeq
@leswebber6 Well put. I would have to say that the so-called "social media trolls" that abuse the platforms to spread hate and filth have, more than once, turned me off from a topic.
"(Social media ads) only work with a large amount of data... You might think the list of recommended Youtube videos (after your initial search) is for your benefit... It's not. The algorithm just figured out how to keep your attention while feeding you ads" #unboundeq
@cbelcher13 Some previous generations (not to name names 😉) love to point out how we millenials are obsessed with our phones. Which is likely true. I would however argue that every generation had its own set of "vices" that they had to overcome. At least we stay informed, and quickly!
@v_wade21 I couldn't agree more Val. Some people's attempts to "gaslight" a base of people for the sole purpose of drawing attention is very dangerous.
"Facebook/Google (aren't) maliciously and deliberately trying to make the country or the world more polarized, or to encourage extremism... But intent isn't the issue. It's the structures and business models they're building. That's the problem" #unboundeq
