@REDDEVILGEEK1 @bingnitish77 As a cine lover, I am never interested in movies that show a straightforward depiction of events like unification, Sugauli fights, or Kot Parva, but rather in individual stories that run parallel to these events. Movies like Simarekha and Prempinda are examples.

@REDDEVILGEEK1 The stakes are higher than The Martian and Arrival here. Sci-fi ideas are really cool and feel quite plausible in the real world. Andy sticks closely to the physics. The trailer felt almost 100% true to the book. Still recommend to read the book first. Its Just 800 page long. 😁

@REDDEVILGEEK1 For a space and science nerd like me, it was the perfect खुराक. Enjoyed the hell out of it. The “end of the world” trope isn’t new, but Andy Weir’s writing style, humor, and problem solving ideas are so good. Feeling lucky the movie is coming out just as I finished the book.

@culerboii @ShahBalen @hamrorabi I’ve travelled to around 70 districts in Nepal and seen how insanely difficult the terrain is. No matter how many roads, motor or trails we build, some sections will always be ridiculously tough. But basic trails to villages and centres should at least be easy and accessible.

Thanks to Nepal News for the coverage. I was part of the research team supported by the British Antarctic Survey. We worked on Tilicho and Fewa Lake, focusing on reconstructing past environments through diatom & pollen analysis.
