One thing that goes unmentioned in all the Macron/Taiwan talk: France has been a pretty faithful player on Chinese tech. Tough measures against Huawei. A ban on TikTok for govt phones (worded to include WhatsApp tho). Arguably tougher than Germany, other EU states.
