Boys were five times more likely to be expelled from preschool than girls and accounted for 70% of suspensions — not for anything dangerous, but for roughhousing, defiance, and being loud. Instead of addressing the gap, institutions doubled down, remaking classrooms around female learning styles. They criminalized the “bad guy” play that men have channeled into building civilizations since the dawn of time. Almost nobody listened to Sommers, or they mocked her. For over a decade, the project to dismantle masculinity stayed contained in academia, slowly working its way through education policy like a parasite. Then it broke containment. By 2015, the national psychedelic trip we now refer to as “wokeism” was reaching its crescendo, and men — specifically straight, traditional men — were its favorite target. “Toxic masculinity” migrated from academic journals to Thanksgiving dinner. “Men are trash” became something people said at brunch without flinching. “Mansplaining” entered the lexicon. I had a front row seat as a columnist for Playboy, the most famous men’s magazine in the world, from 2015 to 2017 — the exact moment it stopped knowing how to talk to men. The organization was paralyzed by fear and overrun with young liberal women and gay men, which rendered it incapable of meeting the moment. Everything about the brand signaled apology. Playboy should have held the line. It was a wide-open lane. Instead, it followed every other men’s magazine in the same direction: less for the man’s man, more for the gay man and queer woman. Had it doubled down on unapologetically speaking to red-blooded American men, it could have led a renaissance. Instead, it chose surrender. And in the space created when the culture forced men to be small, scummy opportunists filled the void. We got the Tates. The Sneakos. Parodies of men. Guys who are what a teenager thinks masculinity looks like when he doesn’t have a good father: flashy Rolexes, rented Lamborghinis, and endless talk. Talk, talk, talk. The guys who screamed loudest about the feminization of America were engaged in an inherently feminine activity. They were podcasting. They were sitting behind desks and running their mouths. And when you put men in a space that’s fundamentally about talking, their conflict becomes female-coded: reputational attacks, betrayal narratives, emotional manipulation, hissy fits. In real life, male interaction is moderated by the threat of getting punched in the face. Online, that’s gone. So the most effective tactics are the ones women use. These guys didn’t fight the feminization of culture. They became it. I feel privileged to have known men who stormed the beaches at Normandy, who fought in the South Pacific, who came home and never spoke of it. Real men don’t whine about sacrifice. They make it. And I feel sorry for younger generations who haven’t known men like that — men who felt proud to serve, who understood trade-offs, who didn’t see the world in black and white. Young men are desperate for identity, and if you don’t give them Captain America, Ted Williams, and George Washington, they’ll find Nick Fuentes and Andrew Tate. Jordan Peterson identified this collapse in meaning early; it makes young men terrifyingly easy to radicalize. And now these same guys — the ones who spent years raging about how pussified America is, the longhouse, the feminization of men, soy boys, turning the frogs gay — are now having hissy fits because America is actually being masculine. Compare the Biden-era Army recruitment ad, an animated spot about a soldier raised by two moms marching in a pride parade, with what’s coming out of the Pentagon now. A Special Forces trainer deadlifting 500 pounds: “Stronger people are harder to kill.” Soldiers on a firing range: “We train until we can’t get it wrong.” Enlistment is at a 15-year high. When you stop apologizing for what the military is and start showing men what it demands, they show up. That’s what real masculinity looks like when it’s not being run through the filter of “how is this going to make Karen feel?” The culture is shifting everywhere, thanks in part to comedian Joe Rogan, who held the line and built a parallel comedy establishment that is unapologetically masculine, irreverent, and enormous. Bud Light — the brand that nearly destroyed itself partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney — signed as its new spokesperson Shane Gillis, a comedian who’d been dropped from SNL only to return as a host. And on February 22 — 46 years to the day from America’s “Miracle on Ice” — the U.S. men’s hockey team beat Canada in overtime for our first Olympic gold since 1980. Those players stood at the State of the Union, grinning from ear to ear, and got a standing ovation. My nephews are obsessed with them. They see those radiant smiles and that pride in America, and they want to emulate it. In his post-game interview, hockey star Jack Hughes said, “This is all about our country right now. I love the USA. I love my teammates. It’s unbelievable. The U.S. hockey brotherhood is so strong and we had so much support from ex players, and I’m so proud to be American today. So proud.” That’s not some guy ranting into a webcam about alpha males; it’s the real thing, and young men can feel the difference. The 2024 election was, in many ways, a referendum on all of this. The entire post-election media analysis centered on one question: How did Democrats lose young men? The answer was simple. They’d spent a decade telling young men they were the problem, and eventually, young men believed them and voted accordingly. Saving this country is going to require things that make some people uncomfortable. It is going to require men who are willing to be strong without apology, to serve without being asked, and to lead without waiting for permission. For 20 years, we told men to sit down. At the @PostOffice you got a bonus for convicting your own postmasters. Gary Thomas worked in the Post Office security team from 2000 to 2012. He told the Horizon Inquiry his yearly bonus objectives were based on how many successful prosecutions he secured and how much money he clawed back from postmasters. Asked if that influenced his decisions, he admitted it probably did. In 2015 he emailed colleague Graham Ward saying he was pleased to have dug up old case files. He wanted to prove there was no case for justice for what he called thieving subpostmasters. He wrote that he and his team were the best investigators they ever had and they were all crooks. That email went out 6 years after victims had already formed a campaign group and two years after an independent report flagged serious problems with the Horizon system. He apparently missed the memo. One of his cases was Julian Wilson. Wilson raised concerns about Horizon glitches the moment Thomas interviewed him in 2008. None of that made it into the investigation report. Wilson was convicted of false accounting, handed community service and ordered to repay money that was never missing. He died of cancer in 2016. His name was cleared after he was already gone. Sir Alan Bates spent two decades dragging this scandal into the open. He called the bonus scheme appalling and pointed to what he described as the horrendous culture behind it. Lord Beamish, formerly Kevan Jones MP @RtHonKevanJones, called it disgusting that anyone thought incentivising prosecutions was acceptable. The Post Office response to all this. They said they fully support the inquiry getting to the truth... Reassuring, from the organisation that turned wrongful convictions into a performance bonus scheme. Re-education The term re-education refers to a far-reaching political, ideological and behavioural manipulation measure, in which forced and systematic indoctrination in an open or subtle way is intended to bring about a change in the ideological worldview. The national-masochistic and xenophile re-education through partly externally determined FRG politics and FRG system media is supplemented by Shoaism, the quasi-official "state" religion, and used as a psychological weapon against the German people as a whole. An academically imprinted cult of guilt, which determines the prevailing way of thinking in schools, universities and the lying press, is intended to cause lasting damage to national pride, the will to self-preservation and the ability of the German people to preserve themselves (→ genocide). This mass conditioning is well advanced and first chronically appeared with the flood of asylum seekers in Europe in 2015 – as a phenomenon of a specifically FRG-German, pathological readiness to abdicate. In all educational institutions in the FRG as well as in all Shoaic places of worship, history is taught in the anti-German sense. In particular, the history of the Third Reich is taught as it should have been according to the politically correct view. History Immediately after the end of the European war unleashed by England in 1939, which had become a world war with the entry of the USA, a radical re-education of the German people was initiated in all occupation zones of the German Reich by the occupying powers, among other things, through the establishment of special internment camps. In the course of this arbitrary and violent rule, there were also tortures and persecutions of politically dissident individuals. The following designations were used in the respective occupation zones: US zone: Re-Education British zone: Reconstruction French zone: mission civilisatrice Soviet zone: antifascist-democratic transformation The Allied re-education program in the post-war period was ❗️❗️and is often camouflaged as "democratic educational work" or as "education for democracy."❗️❗️ On the other hand, the real goal of re-education by the victorious powers was to rob the Germans of their culture, which had developed over thousands of years, and to destroy their national body. This re-education was always a declared goal of Germany’s enemies. All previous re-educations shared the same basic concept agreed upon in the respective areas of influence of all four victorious powers, which remained unbroken even through the decades-long so-called Cold War. The Jewish-Marxist Frankfurt School played a significant role in this, as it represented the most fervent advocates of the victors' historical narrative. Predominantly Jewish psychologists developed the so-called fascism test to capture the characteristics and personality traits of the Germans, thus enabling an 'optimal' re-education. Max Horkheimer summarized the intentions of the influential circles in the USA in 1942 with these words: 'One must create an elite that is entirely oriented towards America.' On the other hand, this elite must not be constituted in such a way that it no longer enjoys the trust of the German people itself and is considered bribed." Re-education continues to this day in West German politics, especially in education policy and media policy, as well as in the countless initiatives against freedom of expression ("against the right") promoted by the FRG and its block parties. Punishment was part of the logic of re-education. The Germans should understand the suffering they have suffered as self-inflicted. The destruction of the old cities fitted into the Vansittart logic as part of the "curative treatment". The terror of the bombing destroyed not only material goods, but also collective symbols and cultural and historical goods, and so forth, to which memories and idealistic values were attached. The tabula rasa in the cities created the basis for a tabula rasa in the minds in order to carry out a spiritual and cultural reprogramming. Von Wirtschaftskrieg & Kriegswirtschaft „Mein Führer, ich kann wieder gehen!“ Dr. Seltsam Die EU hat die eigenen Bestände vollständig geleert, ihre Produktionskapazitäten ausgeschöpft und möchte nun - angeführt von einem ihrer Korruptionskaputtniks (Tschechoslowakei) - für 1,5 Mrd. Euro 800.000 Artilleriegranaten auf internationalen Resterampen und den undurchsichtigen Schattenmärkten Afrikas erwerben, ohne irgendjemandem auch nur ansatzweise zu verraten, wie, was, warum und von wem. Hat die EU zusammen mit ihrem Friedensauftrag jetzt auch die Mindeststandards für rechtskonformes Verwaltungshandeln ausgesetzt? Allein der Verdacht einer Anbahnung undurchsichtiger Geschäfte mit Waffenhändlern hätte zum geschlossenen Rücktritt der gesamten Kommission geführt - bis vor kurzem jedenfalls. Dessen Hauptargument es seinerzeit doch noch gewesen war, diese seine böse Gegenkandidatin (Le Pen, die jüngere) würde das schöne Frankreich stante pede „in den nächstbesten Krieg führen“? In Brüssel schließlich steht der Milliardär Thierry Breton, gelernter Transmissionsriemen zwischen (privatem) Großkapital und (öffentlicher) Verwaltung sowie EU-Kommissar für alles, was man ihm nicht rechtzeitig aus den penibel manikürten Klauen schlägt. Unter gewohnt kryptischen Kürzeln (nach „EDIDP“ & „ASAP“ nun „EDIP“ & „EDIS“) stellt er das Kommissionsprogramm zur Umwandlung der unverdaulichen Reste der europäischen Ökonomie in eine „Kriegswirtschaft“ vor: Zuschüsse, Darlehen, Steuerbefreiungen in einer perspektivischen Größenordnung von 100 Mrd. Euro für den damit auf absehbare Zeit von jedem Verlustrisiko befreiten industriellen Rüstungskomplex - finanziert aus Darlehen, konfisziertem Fremdvermögen, Eigenmitteln und Spenden von Bedürftigen (Spenden war Spaß!). Die Trägerin des Friedensnobelpreises EU lehnt es seit nunmehr zwei Jahren rundheraus ab, die europäische Erfindung der DIPLOMATIE zur Befriedung ihres eigenen Kontinentes einzusetzen, und zieht es stattdessen vor, sich mit einem Geld, das zu gleichen Teilen geliehen (Finanzmärkte), gestohlen (russisches Staatsvermögen) und selbstgebastelt ist (EZB-Kartoffeldruck), für denselben „großen Konflikt“ zu rüsten, den aufzuhalten sie sich gleichzeitig beharrlich weigert. Verschuldung, Militarisierung, Diebstahl, Schwarzmarktgeschäfte und Waffenhandel, rechenschaftslose Intransparenz, Kriegsfinanzierung & Kriegsvorbereitung zu einem ohrenbetäubend vorwilhelminischen Kriegsgeschrei - eine solche EU, mit Verlaub, wurde in Europa niemals gegründet. Kriegswirtschaft. Dass die EU, die ja noch nicht einmal ein Staat ist, irgendeinem anderen supranationalen Verwaltungsapparat (IWF? WHO? Weltpostverein?) den mit der Ausrufung dieses per Mufti deklarierten Wirtschaftsmodus zwingend assoziierten KRIEG überhaupt erklärt hätte, erklären könnte oder sollte, das wäre uns freilich neu. Und auch die Kommission selbst belässt diese denk- und argumentationslogisch verwirrende Frage wohlweislich in der kunstlosen Unschärfe einer Richterschen Verwischung. Kriegswirtschaft also. Ziehen Sie da draußen sich sicherheitshalber schon mal warm an, denn die historische Erfahrung zeigt, dass auf offene Proklamationen diesen Inhalts nicht selten Rohstoffrationierungen, Zwangsrequirierungen (Kirchenglocken, Autoreifen, Nutellareserven), semiinstruktive Handreichungen in Sütterlinschrift („Spare Seife! Aber wie?“) und monochrome Essensmarken folgen. Ihrerseits womöglich gefolgt von einem unter der Bezeichnung „Hungerwinter“ bekannten Zustand, der heutigen Lifestyle-Bellizisten Tränen aufrichtigen Selbstmitleids in die Augen treiben würde. (vgl. Wikipedia, S. 1946/47 ff.). Wenigstens gibt die Kommission vonderLeyen damit jetzt, in einem seltenen Moment völlig unverstellten Sprachgebrauchs, einmal offen zu, was sie schon seit geraumer Zeit betreibt: die ungehemmte Bildung von Komposita aus den Elementen „Wirtschaft“ und „Krieg“. Längst hat die Union ihr traditionelles Hauptbetätigungsfeld, die Wirtschaft, nämlich vom Wohlstandssicherungsinstrument zu einer ideologisch (fern)steuerbaren Waffe umgebaut. Die Zeit der Globalisierungsfeldzüge und neoliberalen Siegesparolen scheint endgültig vorbei. Nach Jahrzehnten des Kampfes für freien Welthandel und die Öffnung von Märkten kämpft die EU nun für das genaue Gegenteil - spätestens seit sie groß ins ganz große Sanktionsgeschäft eingestiegen ist. Da keines ihrer (unter dem Einfluss grenzenloser Selbstüberschätzung verhängten) dreizehn Sanktionspakete die ihnen zuvor fälschlicherweise nachgesagte Wirkung erzeugen konnte, hat die EU jüngst sogar das wirtschaftsethisch und juristisch verminte Gelände der Sekundärsanktionen (Vgl. Google) betreten, die auf die extraterritoritoriale Geltendmachung eigener Rechtsakte zielen. In ihnen konzentriert sich alles, was der geopolitische Westen an prädemokratischem Dominanzgebaren und (post)kolonialem Unterwerfungswillen je unter einer euphemistischen Bezeichnung auf den Markt gebracht hat. Nicht genug, dass sich die EU mit der Verhängung von Sekundärsanktionen die sattsam bekannte Schulhofschlägerpraxis der USA zu eigen macht, sie verstößt damit wissentlich gegen internationales Recht. Eine EU, die bei vollem Bewusstsein ihrer Entscheidungsträger ein Mittel anwendet, das sie selbst - ausweislich einer Reihe eigener Verordnungen, Rechtsgutachten & Stellungnahmen - als eindeutig rechtswidrig einstuft? Mit Frau vonderLeyen hat sich in der EU eine transatlantische Verrohung durchgesetzt, die auf internationales Recht, Verwaltungsprinzipien, Verträge ebensowenig Rücksicht nimmt wie auf angemessene Umgangsformen. Einem Bericht der Financial Times zufolge hat der Rat im Januar einen „vertraulichen Plan“ zur gezielten und absichtsvollen Destabilisierung von Wirtschaft und Währung des EU-Mitglieds Ungarns ausarbeiten lassen, um den Transfer von 51 Mrd. Euro an das Nichtmitglied Ukraine sicherzustellen. Die EU geht damit von der (nach dem sog. Rechtsstaatsinstrument immerhin rechtmäßigen) Einbehaltung von Geldern dazu über, sich die eigenen Mitgliedsstaaten mit Mitteln des Wirtschaftskrieges und der astreinen Erpressung gewogen zu machen. Man muss kein Freund von Orban, Putin oder Al Capone sein, um die Brisanz dieses Papiers und des ihm enthaltenen Denkmusters zu begreifen, mit dem die EU es sich letztlich zum Ziel setzt, das vertragsgemäße Vetorecht eines Mitgliedsstaates nicht durch ein demokratisch legitimiertes Verfahren oder die Anwendung einer Rechtsvorschrift, sondern durch klandestine Selbjustiz? auszuhebeln. Dass die Union, der ja nichts als die Interessensvertretung ihrer Mitglieder v.a. in wirtschaftlichen Belangen obliegt, allen Ernstes gegen ein eigenes Mitglied vorzugehen plant, ist eine schier albtraumhafte Entwicklung, die keineswegs Ausdruck irgendeiner „Wehrhaftigkeit“ ist, sondern den eigentlichen Daseinszweck einer Union verbindlich ad absurdum führt. Die EU nimmt es in Kauf, dass ihre eigenen (ungarischen) Bürger von exakt jener Institution, der sie die Wahrung ihres wirtschaftlichen Wohlergehens übertragen haben, absichtlich in den Strudel existentiellen Zusammenbruchs gestoßen werden. Welchem europäischen Wert so etwas noch entsprechen soll, erschließt sich uns auch nach gründlicher Meditation nicht. Den 10 Geboten der Mafia vielleicht. Wir selbst halten es übrigens für einen durchaus ausbaufähigen Ansatz, einem EU-Mitglied mit seiner wirtschaftlichen Vernichtung zu drohen, um Geld für jemand anderen zu erpressen. Sobald wir an der Macht sind, werden wir umgehend einen Haufen Kohle vom europäischen Geldsack Luxemburg erpressen für „Brot für die Welt“. Oder von diesem französischen Käsestaat für all die über Jahrhunderte von ihm ausgebeuteten Gebiete v.a. in Westafrika. Und falls die EU ihre ökonomische Selbstvernichtung (wider Erwarten) überleben sollte, werden wir auch aus ihr endlich das Geld herauspressen, das sie ihren Bürgern seit Jahrzehnten vorenthält, um damit endlich den europaweiten Verfall aller Infrastrukturen und die beschämende EU-Armutsquote von rund 22 Prozent notdürftig zu reparieren. Auch zur Beschlagnahme von Vermögenswerten der russischen Zentralbank ist die EU, wie man hört, aufs Wildeste entschlossen, obwohl nicht nur die Notenbanken Deutschlands, Frankreichs und Italiens, sondern gar die EZB und Euroclear (jene Clearingstelle, die das Vermögen verwahrt,) sie seit Wochen davor warnen: gewaltige Risiken für die finanzielle Stabilität Europas, Auswirkungen auf die Märkte, unabsehbare rechtliche Folgen. Staatliche Vermögenswerte genießen nach internationalem Recht Immunität. Würde die EU dieses Prinzip handstreichartig unterlaufen, so wäre eine „erhebliche Beeinträchtigung des Vertrauens die Folge - in das Euroclear-System, in die europäischen Kapitalmärkte, in den Euro als (Reserve-)Währung“, so Lieve Mostrey, die Geschäftsführerin von Euroclear. Dass die EU sich ernsthaft Zugriff auf fremdes Eigentum zu verschaffen plant, ist nicht nur - erneut - auf sublim dämliche Weise selbstschädigend, sondern - erneut - schlicht illegal, wie sie es auch dreht und wendet. In den Gesetzbüchern zivilisierter Staaten steht dergleichen noch immer als „Diebstahl“ unter Strafe (falls die EU-Kommission es noch nicht geändert hat): die rechtwidrige Aneignung des Vermögens eines anderen. Alle Honks, die dieses Vorgehen heute noch bejubeln mögen, haben die Implikationen eines solchen Aktes offenbar noch nicht begriffen: eine transnationale Organisation mit semidemokratischer Legitimationsbasis beginnt damit, eine der wesentlichsten Grundlagen der von ihr selbst propagierten Gesellschaftsordnung anzutasten: das Eigentum. Wenn sein blanker (verfassungsrechtlich geschützter) Begriff in der EU künftig nicht mehr das Papier wert ist, auf dem er einmal stand, und jedwedes Eigentum ungeschützt zur willkürlich zugriffsfähigen Beute seiner Jäger wird - na schön, dann Leinen los! Sobald wir an der Macht sind, werden wir das Vermögen von Pfizer, Rheinmetall, McDonalds und der Bild-Zeitung konfiszieren, um es endlich unter all denen zu verteilen, die von ihnen seit Lichtjahren geschädigt sind. Blackrock und Vanguard können ihr sogenanntes Eigentum dann natürlich ebenso vergessen wir vonderLeyen und Thierry Breton, der sich übrigens gerade ein eigenes Schloß mit hohen Zinnen in Gargilesse-Dampierre (Département Indre) zugelegt hat, um vor den absehbaren Folgen der von ihm deklarierten Kriegswirtschaft in Sicherheit zu sein. Wie transparent, kostenoptimierend und regelgerecht zentralisierte EU-Waffenkäufe unter vonderLeyen ausfallen würden, mag ein jeder sich selbst ausmalen, der das Zustandekommen der Impfstoffverträge verfolgt hat, nach deren Vorbild die milliardenfach auf uns zurollenden EU-Rüstungsverträge - der Kommissionspräsidentin zufolge „sehr erfolgreich!“ - gestaltet werden sollen. Seit 2018 hat die Bürgerbeauftragte Emily O’Reilly die Kommission immer wieder - vergeblich - dazu aufgefordert, die skandalöse Intransparenz des EU-Fördermittelabflusses an die Rüstungsindustrie zu beseitigen, die von den beteiligten EU-Institutionen schon seit Jahren mit Händen und Füßen verteidigt wird. Noch nicht einmal die Namen der externen „Experten“ sind öffentlich, von denen die EU sich bei der Finanzierung von Militärprojekten „beraten“ lässt, ebensowenig wie deren - immerhin den Einsatz von Millionensummen auslösende - „Berichte“. Geschweige denn, dass auch nur ansatzweise sichergestellt wäre, dass jene Fachleute nicht direkt (oder sonstwie) auf dem Gehaltszettel jener Rüstungsunternehmen stehen, die von freigegebenen EU-Mitteln im Nachgang profitieren. Zudem, so O’Reilly, gefährde die Kommission die „Integrität der EU-Verwaltung“, da sie nicht entschieden gegen Drehtür-Praktiken vorgehe. Das gilt auch für den Bereich der Rüstung, wo etwa Jorge Domecq, Leiter der Europäischen Verteidigungsagentur EDA, nur Monate nach seinem Ausscheiden aus dem Amt 2020 als Lobbyist zum Luft- und Raumfahrtkonzern Airbus wechselte, einem der größten Auftragnehmer der zuvor von ihm geführten EU-Agentur. LOL! Wir dürfen gespannt sein, in welcher Branche Rüstungskommissar Thierry Breton, der zeitlebens nichts anderes getan hat, als zwischen CEO-Stellen und politischen Posten hin- und herzupendeln, nach Ablauf seiner Kommissarszeit wieder auftauchen wird. Falls es ihm nicht gelingen sollte, die derzeitige Stelle vonderLeyens zu ergattern, auf die er selbstredend ebenfalls reflektiert. „It’s the old Watergate thing, follow the money!“, empfiehlt die europäische Bürgerbeauftragte O’Reilly derweil. Vielleicht vor allem dem der EU-Kommissare, ZwinkerSmiley. "Wir schaun dir in die Augen, europäischer Verblendungszusammenhang!" René Pollesch (aktualisiert) Auch ihren neuen Rüstungsbeschaffungsslogan „Buy European!“ sollte die Kommission schleunigst in derselben Schublade verschwinden lassen, aus der sie ihn gezogen hat. Die europäischen Militärunternehmen, die von EU-Rüstungsgeldern profitieren, befinden sich nämlich ebenso im Miteigentum der großen Investmentfonds wie ihre US-amerikanischen Pendants. BlackRock, Vanguard, Capital usw. besitzen clevererweise Anteile an EU-Rüstungsunternehmen und deren US-Konkurrenten zugleich. Dieses gemeinsame Eigentum (sog. „common ownership“-Problem) schafft nicht nur Anreize für höhere Preise und geringere Produktion, sondern bringt bekanntermaßen Wettbewerbsverzerrungen und das Risiko einer veritablen Trustbildung mit sich. In jedem anderen Wirtschaftssektor würde die Kommission ihre eigenen Wettbewerbsregeln mit Boxhandschuhen durchsetzen. Hier tat sie es nie. Dem Europäischen Netzwerk gegen Waffenhandel (ENAAT) erzeugte das alles schon Stirnfalten (tief), lange bevor mit dem Krieg in der Ukraine nun auch die letzten Schleusen der EU-zertifizierten Kapitalumschichtung in den militärisch-industriellen Komplex gebrochen sind: „Wir öffnen die Büchse der Pandora. Europa wird zu einer Cash-Cow (für die Rüstungsindustrie), zu einer Finanzierungsquelle ohne Einschränkungen.“ Egal! Hoch die zerschlissene Europa-Fahne, hoch das innere Bajonett, ruft die Kommission ihren sedierten Massen zu, die ihrerseits keinen gravierenden Widerspruch darin erkennen können, dass die EU ihrem unerschöpflichen Vorrat an Worthülsen nun einen ebensolchen an echten Patronenknallern zur Seite stellt - mit großem BUMM in diesen großen „Frieden“, dessen Worthülse ja noch immer in den Großbuchstaben ihrer Charta steht. Eine solche EU aber, mit Verlaub, wurde in Europa nie gegründet. Die teleologischen und interpretativen Verrenkungen, die die EU auf ihrem Weg vom Wirtschaftskrieg in die Kriegswirtschaft unternehmen muss, sind überraschungsfrei Legion. Alarmiert belehrt uns Gablers Wirtschaftslexikon, dass Kriegswirtschaften unter formaler Aufrechterhaltung des Marktes dessen zentrale Mechanismen außer Kraft setzen, um sie durch ein „auf militärische Zwecke ausgerichtetes Administrationssystem“ zu ersetzen. Europa, Hort kompromisslos freier Marktwirtschaft. Wo genau in den einschlägigen EU-Verträgen eine Kommissionsbefugnis zur Errichtung dieser „Spezialform der Zentralverwaltungswirtschaft zu Rüstungszwecken“ zu finden sein soll, das wissen nur die Götter. Längst sind die Kampfeinsätze der Kommission auf die rückstandslose Niederschlagung europäischer Gründungsgedanken gerichtet - durchgeführt im klassischen Stufensystem der allmählichen Eskalation: Erstschlag, Zweitschlag, Letztpulverisierung durch Atombumbum. Denn anders, als man es Sie heute glauben macht, passt die EU sich derzeit keineswegs reaktiv oder über Nacht an irgendeine überraschende Entwicklung der geopolitischen Jetztzeit an. Vielmehr legt sie die über Jahre angesammelten Ergebnisse ihrer Frankensteinschen Umwandlung in ein vertragswidriges Militarisierungsprojekt vor. Kommissionsintern war man auf diesen Krieg, der für Sie da draußen doch völlig überraschend gekommen war, schon aufs Trefflichste vorbereitet. Mit der „East StratCom Task Force“, dem „Strategischen Kommunikationsteam Ost“, hatte die EU sich schon 2015 ein eigenes Kampfmittel für den auf dem Feld der Deutungshoheit geführten Schlachtplatz des „hybriden“ Krieges geschaffen - ein offizielles Amt für Desinformationsbekämpfung, Wissensrektifizierung und informationelle Rechtgläubigkeit, das stets so ideologielastig, militant und auf verstandesquälende Weise irreführend war, dass es nur ausgemachten Vollidioten als „neutral“ erschien. Tambourmajorin vonderLeyen hatte die von ihr übernommene Kommission schnell von einem Instrument lebendig-demokratischer Konsensfindung in einen des dumpfen Kadergehorsams mit vertikaler Kommandostruktur verwandelt: „Von der Kommission Juncker zur Kommission Bunker“, wie es unter Journalisten zu Beginn ihrer Amtszeit hieß. Weise, gütig und vorausschauend, wie vonderLeyen nun einmal ist, hielt sie es schon 2019 für eine unbedingte Notwendigkeit, dem Organigramm dieser 2012 (versehentlich) zur Friedensnobelpreisträgerin erklärten EU den offiziellen Gliederungspunkt einer STABSSTELLE RÜSTUNG hinzuzufügen - ein veritabler Tabubruch, der Pessimisten, Kassandren und uns schon damals den allmählich stockenden Atem gefrieren ließ. VonderLeyen ist die erste Kommissionspräsidentin in der 60jährigen Geschichte der EU, die der RÜSTUNG eine eigene Generaldirektion, eine eigene Ressortzuständigkeit und einen eigenen Kommissar gewidmet hat: Kriegskommissar Thierry Breton, der schon seit über einem Jahr an der Ausgestaltung jener Kriegswirtschaft schraubt, die er im Namen der EU nun offiziell verkündet. Wenn DAS unsere Väter noch hätten erleben dürfen oder unserer Väter Väter. Oder wenigstens jene viel zitierten Gründergestalten der EU, die ja - völlig arglos - die vorfeldintellektuelle Drecksarbeit zur europäischen „Integration“ geleistet hatten, ohne auch nur zu ahnen, wozu das im Jahre 2024 unter einer humanistischen BILDUNGSKANONE wie vonderLeyen einmal führen würde. Über eine Entwicklung wie die jetzige, die - mit vollem Bewusstsein ihrer derzeitigen Entscheidungsträger - auf die systematische Aufrüstung Europas hinausläuft, hätten sie nicht schlecht gestaunt: Bauklötze (Gr. 3XL). Denn immerhin steht sie in offenem Widerspruch zu den von ihnen verbindlich gezeichneten Unionsverträgen, in denen sie mit Artikel 41, Absatz 2 EUV - ebenfalls bei vollem Bewusstsein - ein strenges Finanzierungsverbot für Rüstungsgüter verankert hatten, genauer für alle „Ausgaben“ mit „militärischen und verteidigungspolitischen Bezügen“ aus den Haushaltsmitteln der Union. Bereits in der Vergangenheit war die Kommission um kreative Einfälle zur Umgehung dieses Verbots natürlich nie verlegen. Zuwendungen an die Kawummindustrie versteckte sie in Haushaltsposten für „Wissenschaft“, „Forschung“, „Entwicklung“, „Modernisierung“, „Infrastruktur“, „Wettbewerbsförderung“, „Kohäsion“ oder (neu im Programm) „Grünwerdung“. Und schuf nebenher finanzielle Parallelstrukturen Orwellschen Zuschnitts, um den zuverlässigen Abfluss von Geldern an den militärisch-industriellen Komplex über Schattenhaushalte sicherzustellen. Freilich nicht, ohne sich dabei exakt jener semantischen Umdeutungen zu bedienen, die George Orwell für die seelenlosen Herschaftssysteme kommender Zeiten vorausgesehen hatte - etwa die Europäische Friedensfazilität, die seit ihrer Gründung nichts als Kriegseinsätze finanziert, oder besagte Einsatzstelle für die Bekämpfung von „Desinformation“, der außer ihrer in billiges Feldgrau genagelten Ideologie nichts Informatives zu entnehmen ist. Jedenfalls nichts neben ihrer antiaufklärerischen Absicht, jede autonome, kritische oder auch nur bildungsbürgerliche Bewertungs- und Kontextualiserungskompetenz außerhalb ihrer vier eigenen Betonwände fürderhin unmöglich zu machen. Mittel und Wege, Programme und Finanzierungen, Umwidmungen und Falschetikettierungen - unter der (bekanntlich nie ganz altruistischen) Mithilfe eines parlamentarisch-bürokratischen Schwarzen Blocks aus konservativen Rüstungs- und neokonservativen Transatlantiklobbyisten, die seit je - und nicht nur in Brüssel - nibelungentreu miteinander verbunden sind. So weit sind wir mit unserer prophetischen Forderung „Waffeln statt Waffen!“ natürlich nie gekommen, obwohl sie weit weniger verrückt ist als alles, was in der militarisierten EU in den letzten Jahren entstanden ist. Es ist ein Manöver am äußersten Rand der rechtlichen Zulässigkeit, eine „Militarisierung auf den Trümmern des Rechts“, wie der Verfassungsrechtler Andreas Fischer-Lescano schon 2018 schrieb. Wenn die EU nun tatsächlich dazu überginge, zusätzlich zu all den bisherigen, schon bisher illegal unternommenen Militarisierungsschritten auch noch eigene (und eigenhändig gestohlene) Haushaltsmittel für ihre Rüstungsphantasien zu verwenden, entspräche das einem offenen Rechtsbruch. Die EU-Kommission verstieße damit gegen Text und Geist ihres eigenen Vertrags. Und sosehr (rüstungsaffine) Rechtsgelehrte sich in hirnverknotenden Interpretationsschleifen auch darzulegen bemühen, warum es aus rechtlicher Sicht dennoch rechtskonform sein könnte, diese rechtsverbindliche Vorschrift der EU-Verfassung mittels rechtswirksamer Rechtsbeugung zu umgehen, so müssen all ihre juristisch-semantischen Argumentationspirouetten doch spätestens dann versagen, wenn es um den vielbeschworenen GEIST dieser Verträge geht, die ABSICHT nämlich, mit der europäische Staaten sich in gemeinsame Gemeinschaft begeben haben und auf den zu beziehen die Europäischen Institutionen an anderer Stelle nicht müde werden. Tatsächlich standen jene Gründerväter - anders als die Töchter ihrer Söhne heute - noch unter dem unmittelbareren Eindruck der kontinentalen Verwüstungen zweier Weltkriege. Wir dürfen getrost annehmen, dass die von der europäischen Kriegs- und Nachkriegsgeneration vielfach referenzierten Schlachtworte NIE WIEDER KRIEG von der tiefstmöglichen Überzeugung nebst der festen Absicht getragenen waren, nie wieder einem Wahnsinn verfallen zu wollen, der es auf verdrehte Weise vernünftig erscheinen lässt, Unsummen finanziellen und politischen Kapitals nicht dem Glück und Wohlergehen der Europäer, sondern dem todbringenden Geschäft mit letalem Gerät zu widmen. Der Permanenz des Ausnahmezustands ist unter vdLeyen die Permanenz des Regelbruchs und blanken Prinzipienverrats hinzugetreten. Mit der Ausrufung der Kriegswirtschaft hat die EU, die ihren inneren Geisteszustand zuletzt ohnehin nur noch notdürftig verschleiern konnte, nun auch noch den letzten ihrer kobaltblauen Tarnanzüge abgelegt. Und während die EU zusammen mit dem beschämenden Großteil der europäischen Regierungen noch immer begierig in jedes Horn zu blasen bereit ist, das diese (noch immer nicht zur EU gehörende) NATO ihr hinhält, dürfen wir, da Frau vonderLeyen es in ihrer jüngsten Blutrede vergessen hat, den fassungslosen Rest der Welt zur endgültigen Beisetzung der europäischen Werte bitten: „Die Europäische Union muss mit der Produktion einer neuen Waffengeneration beginnen, um auf dem Schlachtfeld zu siegen.“ Wenn wir nicht wüssten, dass der Weltgeist ohnehin schon in psychiatrischer Behandlung ist, würden wir ihn spätestens mit dieser dadaistischen Volte einweisen lassen, denn eine „objektive Vernunft“, gar ein Europa (oder die Welt) durchwaltendes und ordnendes Prinzip können wir beim allerbesten Wissen nicht mehr erkennen, jedenfalls kein gutartiges mehr. Und vielleicht sind ja auch wir hier die allmählich wahnsinnig gewordenen Irren, denn es würde uns tatsächlich schon genügen, wenn die verschlagenen Verwaltungsmonstren, die dem europäischen Gründungsgedanken entstiegen sind, sich an die Regeln ihrer eigenen Verträge hielten. Wir hätten nie gedacht, dass wir einmal in die unangenehme Lage geraten könnten, europäische Verträge zu verteidigen, denn wir haben genug und reichlich an ihnen auszusetzen. Aber dass wir sie auch noch gegen die würden verteidigen müssen, die doch zu ihrem Schutz bestellt sind, eine amtierende Europäische Kommission mitsamt ihrer amtierenden Präsidentin, das wäre noch nicht einmal uns eingefallen. Nicht im farbenprächtigsten unserer Fieberträume. Denn, mit Verlaub, eine solche EU wurde in Europa niemals gegründet.

Von Wirtschaftskrieg & Kriegswirtschaft „Mein Führer, ich kann wieder gehen!“ Dr. Seltsam Die EU hat die eigenen Bestände vollständig geleert, ihre Produktionskapazitäten ausgeschöpft und möchte nun - angeführt von einem ihrer Korruptionskaputtniks (Tschechoslowakei) - für 1,5 Mrd. Euro 800.000 Artilleriegranaten auf internationalen Resterampen und den undurchsichtigen Schattenmärkten Afrikas erwerben, ohne irgendjemandem auch nur ansatzweise zu verraten, wie, was, warum und von wem. Hat die EU zusammen mit ihrem Friedensauftrag jetzt auch die Mindeststandards für rechtskonformes Verwaltungshandeln ausgesetzt? Allein der Verdacht einer Anbahnung undurchsichtiger Geschäfte mit Waffenhändlern hätte zum geschlossenen Rücktritt der gesamten Kommission geführt - bis vor kurzem jedenfalls. Deutschland mit dreistelligem Millionenbetrag dabei! Paar tausend Euro pro Bummsgranate, guter Preis! - jubelt die SZ, die über diesen haarsträubenden Unsinn auch noch mit einem heiligen Ernst berichtet, als handele es sich um die Wiederauferstehung des rechten Latschens Jesu Christi. Gleichzeitig ruft der in seiner napoleonisch gemeinten Liliputanerehre gekränkte Macron den ohnedies unter erschwerten Kriegslebensbedingungen vor sich hinvegetierenden Durchschnittseuropäer mit düsterem Raunen dazu auf, nun ja kein „Feigling!“ zu sein und sich endlich dieser mit der Wucht eines ausgemusterten Lada auf ihn zurasenden „Geschichte“ zu stellen. Ist es das, was man bekommt, wenn man sich einen welpenäugigen Schwiegersohn der Finanzmärkte zum Präsidenten macht? Dessen Hauptargument es seinerzeit doch noch gewesen war, diese seine böse Gegenkandidatin (Le Pen, die jüngere) würde das schöne Frankreich stante pede „in den nächstbesten Krieg führen“? In Brüssel schließlich steht der Milliardär Thierry Breton, gelernter Transmissionsriemen zwischen (privatem) Großkapital und (öffentlicher) Verwaltung sowie EU-Kommissar für alles, was man ihm nicht rechtzeitig aus den penibel manikürten Klauen schlägt. Unter gewohnt kryptischen Kürzeln (nach „EDIDP“ & „ASAP“ nun „EDIP“ & „EDIS“) stellt er das Kommissionsprogramm zur Umwandlung der unverdaulichen Reste der europäischen Ökonomie in eine „Kriegswirtschaft“ vor: Zuschüsse, Darlehen, Steuerbefreiungen in einer perspektivischen Größenordnung von 100 Mrd. Euro für den damit auf absehbare Zeit von jedem Verlustrisiko befreiten industriellen Rüstungskomplex - finanziert aus Darlehen, konfisziertem Fremdvermögen, Eigenmitteln und Spenden von Bedürftigen (Spenden war Spaß!). Die Trägerin des Friedensnobelpreises EU lehnt es seit nunmehr zwei Jahren rundheraus ab, die europäische Erfindung der DIPLOMATIE zur Befriedung ihres eigenen Kontinentes einzusetzen, und zieht es stattdessen vor, sich mit einem Geld, das zu gleichen Teilen geliehen (Finanzmärkte), gestohlen (russisches Staatsvermögen) und selbstgebastelt ist (EZB-Kartoffeldruck), für denselben „großen Konflikt“ zu rüsten, den aufzuhalten sie sich gleichzeitig beharrlich weigert. Verschuldung, Militarisierung, Diebstahl, Schwarzmarktgeschäfte und Waffenhandel, rechenschaftslose Intransparenz, Kriegsfinanzierung & Kriegsvorbereitung zu einem ohrenbetäubend vorwilhelminischen Kriegsgeschrei - eine solche EU, mit Verlaub, wurde in Europa niemals gegründet. Kriegswirtschaft. Dass die EU, die ja noch nicht einmal ein Staat ist, irgendeinem anderen supranationalen Verwaltungsapparat (IWF? WHO? Weltpostverein?) den mit der Ausrufung dieses per Mufti deklarierten Wirtschaftsmodus zwingend assoziierten KRIEG überhaupt erklärt hätte, erklären könnte oder sollte, das wäre uns freilich neu. Und auch die Kommission selbst belässt diese denk- und argumentationslogisch verwirrende Frage wohlweislich in der kunstlosen Unschärfe einer Richterschen Verwischung. Kriegswirtschaft also. Ziehen Sie da draußen sich sicherheitshalber schon mal warm an, denn die historische Erfahrung zeigt, dass auf offene Proklamationen diesen Inhalts nicht selten Rohstoffrationierungen, Zwangsrequirierungen (Kirchenglocken, Autoreifen, Nutellareserven), semiinstruktive Handreichungen in Sütterlinschrift („Spare Seife! Aber wie?“) und monochrome Essensmarken folgen. Ihrerseits womöglich gefolgt von einem unter der Bezeichnung „Hungerwinter“ bekannten Zustand, der heutigen Lifestyle-Bellizisten Tränen aufrichtigen Selbstmitleids in die Augen treiben würde. (vgl. Wikipedia, S. 1946/47 ff.). Wenigstens gibt die Kommission vonderLeyen damit jetzt, in einem seltenen Moment völlig unverstellten Sprachgebrauchs, einmal offen zu, was sie schon seit geraumer Zeit betreibt: die ungehemmte Bildung von Komposita aus den Elementen „Wirtschaft“ und „Krieg“. Längst hat die Union ihr traditionelles Hauptbetätigungsfeld, die Wirtschaft, nämlich vom Wohlstandssicherungsinstrument zu einer ideologisch (fern)steuerbaren Waffe umgebaut. Die Zeit der Globalisierungsfeldzüge und neoliberalen Siegesparolen scheint endgültig vorbei. Nach Jahrzehnten des Kampfes für freien Welthandel und die Öffnung von Märkten kämpft die EU nun für das genaue Gegenteil - spätestens seit sie groß ins ganz große Sanktionsgeschäft eingestiegen ist. Da keines ihrer (unter dem Einfluss grenzenloser Selbstüberschätzung verhängten) dreizehn Sanktionspakete die ihnen zuvor fälschlicherweise nachgesagte Wirkung erzeugen konnte, hat die EU jüngst sogar das wirtschaftsethisch und juristisch verminte Gelände der Sekundärsanktionen (Vgl. Google) betreten, die auf die extraterritoritoriale Geltendmachung eigener Rechtsakte zielen. In ihnen konzentriert sich alles, was der geopolitische Westen an prädemokratischem Dominanzgebaren und (post)kolonialem Unterwerfungswillen je unter einer euphemistischen Bezeichnung auf den Markt gebracht hat. Nicht genug, dass sich die EU mit der Verhängung von Sekundärsanktionen die sattsam bekannte Schulhofschlägerpraxis der USA zu eigen macht, sie verstößt damit wissentlich gegen internationales Recht. Eine EU, die bei vollem Bewusstsein ihrer Entscheidungsträger ein Mittel anwendet, das sie selbst - ausweislich einer Reihe eigener Verordnungen, Rechtsgutachten & Stellungnahmen - als eindeutig rechtswidrig einstuft? Mit Frau vonderLeyen hat sich in der EU eine transatlantische Verrohung durchgesetzt, die auf internationales Recht, Verwaltungsprinzipien, Verträge ebensowenig Rücksicht nimmt wie auf angemessene Umgangsformen. Einem Bericht der Financial Times zufolge hat der Rat im Januar einen „vertraulichen Plan“ zur gezielten und absichtsvollen Destabilisierung von Wirtschaft und Währung des EU-Mitglieds Ungarns ausarbeiten lassen, um den Transfer von 51 Mrd. Euro an das Nichtmitglied Ukraine sicherzustellen. Die EU geht damit von der (nach dem sog. Rechtsstaatsinstrument immerhin rechtmäßigen) Einbehaltung von Geldern dazu über, sich die eigenen Mitgliedsstaaten mit Mitteln des Wirtschaftskrieges und der astreinen Erpressung gewogen zu machen. Man muss kein Freund von Orban, Putin oder Al Capone sein, um die Brisanz dieses Papiers und des ihm enthaltenen Denkmusters zu begreifen, mit dem die EU es sich letztlich zum Ziel setzt, das vertragsgemäße Vetorecht eines Mitgliedsstaates nicht durch ein demokratisch legitimiertes Verfahren oder die Anwendung einer Rechtsvorschrift, sondern durch klandestine Selbjustiz? auszuhebeln. Dass die Union, der ja nichts als die Interessensvertretung ihrer Mitglieder v.a. in wirtschaftlichen Belangen obliegt, allen Ernstes gegen ein eigenes Mitglied vorzugehen plant, ist eine schier albtraumhafte Entwicklung, die keineswegs Ausdruck irgendeiner „Wehrhaftigkeit“ ist, sondern den eigentlichen Daseinszweck einer Union verbindlich ad absurdum führt. Die EU nimmt es in Kauf, dass ihre eigenen (ungarischen) Bürger von exakt jener Institution, der sie die Wahrung ihres wirtschaftlichen Wohlergehens übertragen haben, absichtlich in den Strudel existentiellen Zusammenbruchs gestoßen werden. Welchem europäischen Wert so etwas noch entsprechen soll, erschließt sich uns auch nach gründlicher Meditation nicht. Den 10 Geboten der Mafia vielleicht. Wir selbst halten es übrigens für einen durchaus ausbaufähigen Ansatz, einem EU-Mitglied mit seiner wirtschaftlichen Vernichtung zu drohen, um Geld für jemand anderen zu erpressen. Sobald wir an der Macht sind, werden wir umgehend einen Haufen Kohle vom europäischen Geldsack Luxemburg erpressen für „Brot für die Welt“. Oder von diesem französischen Käsestaat für all die über Jahrhunderte von ihm ausgebeuteten Gebiete v.a. in Westafrika. Und falls die EU ihre ökonomische Selbstvernichtung (wider Erwarten) überleben sollte, werden wir auch aus ihr endlich das Geld herauspressen, das sie ihren Bürgern seit Jahrzehnten vorenthält, um damit endlich den europaweiten Verfall aller Infrastrukturen und die beschämende EU-Armutsquote von rund 22 Prozent notdürftig zu reparieren. Auch zur Beschlagnahme von Vermögenswerten der russischen Zentralbank ist die EU, wie man hört, aufs Wildeste entschlossen, obwohl nicht nur die Notenbanken Deutschlands, Frankreichs und Italiens, sondern gar die EZB und Euroclear (jene Clearingstelle, die das Vermögen verwahrt,) sie seit Wochen davor warnen: gewaltige Risiken für die finanzielle Stabilität Europas, Auswirkungen auf die Märkte, unabsehbare rechtliche Folgen. Staatliche Vermögenswerte genießen nach internationalem Recht Immunität. Würde die EU dieses Prinzip handstreichartig unterlaufen, so wäre eine „erhebliche Beeinträchtigung des Vertrauens die Folge - in das Euroclear-System, in die europäischen Kapitalmärkte, in den Euro als (Reserve-)Währung“, so Lieve Mostrey, die Geschäftsführerin von Euroclear. Dass die EU sich ernsthaft Zugriff auf fremdes Eigentum zu verschaffen plant, ist nicht nur - erneut - auf sublim dämliche Weise selbstschädigend, sondern - erneut - schlicht illegal, wie sie es auch dreht und wendet. In den Gesetzbüchern zivilisierter Staaten steht dergleichen noch immer als „Diebstahl“ unter Strafe (falls die EU-Kommission es noch nicht geändert hat): die rechtwidrige Aneignung des Vermögens eines anderen. Alle Honks, die dieses Vorgehen heute noch bejubeln mögen, haben die Implikationen eines solchen Aktes offenbar noch nicht begriffen: eine transnationale Organisation mit semidemokratischer Legitimationsbasis beginnt damit, eine der wesentlichsten Grundlagen der von ihr selbst propagierten Gesellschaftsordnung anzutasten: das Eigentum. Wenn sein blanker (verfassungsrechtlich geschützter) Begriff in der EU künftig nicht mehr das Papier wert ist, auf dem er einmal stand, und jedwedes Eigentum ungeschützt zur willkürlich zugriffsfähigen Beute seiner Jäger wird - na schön, dann Leinen los! Sobald wir an der Macht sind, werden wir das Vermögen von Pfizer, Rheinmetall, McDonalds und der Bild-Zeitung konfiszieren, um es endlich unter all denen zu verteilen, die von ihnen seit Lichtjahren geschädigt sind. Blackrock und Vanguard können ihr sogenanntes Eigentum dann natürlich ebenso vergessen wir vonderLeyen und Thierry Breton, der sich übrigens gerade ein eigenes Schloß mit hohen Zinnen in Gargilesse-Dampierre (Département Indre) zugelegt hat, um vor den absehbaren Folgen der von ihm deklarierten Kriegswirtschaft in Sicherheit zu sein. Wie transparent, kostenoptimierend und regelgerecht zentralisierte EU-Waffenkäufe unter vonderLeyen ausfallen würden, mag ein jeder sich selbst ausmalen, der das Zustandekommen der Impfstoffverträge verfolgt hat, nach deren Vorbild die milliardenfach auf uns zurollenden EU-Rüstungsverträge - der Kommissionspräsidentin zufolge „sehr erfolgreich!“ - gestaltet werden sollen. Seit 2018 hat die Bürgerbeauftragte Emily O’Reilly die Kommission immer wieder - vergeblich - dazu aufgefordert, die skandalöse Intransparenz des EU-Fördermittelabflusses an die Rüstungsindustrie zu beseitigen, die von den beteiligten EU-Institutionen schon seit Jahren mit Händen und Füßen verteidigt wird. Noch nicht einmal die Namen der externen „Experten“ sind öffentlich, von denen die EU sich bei der Finanzierung von Militärprojekten „beraten“ lässt, ebensowenig wie deren - immerhin den Einsatz von Millionensummen auslösende - „Berichte“. Geschweige denn, dass auch nur ansatzweise sichergestellt wäre, dass jene Fachleute nicht direkt (oder sonstwie) auf dem Gehaltszettel jener Rüstungsunternehmen stehen, die von freigegebenen EU-Mitteln im Nachgang profitieren. Zudem, so O’Reilly, gefährde die Kommission die „Integrität der EU-Verwaltung“, da sie nicht entschieden gegen Drehtür-Praktiken vorgehe. Das gilt auch für den Bereich der Rüstung, wo etwa Jorge Domecq, Leiter der Europäischen Verteidigungsagentur EDA, nur Monate nach seinem Ausscheiden aus dem Amt 2020 als Lobbyist zum Luft- und Raumfahrtkonzern Airbus wechselte, einem der größten Auftragnehmer der zuvor von ihm geführten EU-Agentur. Wir dürfen gespannt sein, in welcher Branche Rüstungskommissar Thierry Breton, der zeitlebens nichts anderes getan hat, als zwischen CEO-Stellen und politischen Posten hin- und herzupendeln, nach Ablauf seiner Kommissarszeit wieder auftauchen wird. Falls es ihm nicht gelingen sollte, die derzeitige Stelle vonderLeyens zu ergattern, auf die er selbstredend ebenfalls reflektiert. „It’s the old Watergate thing, follow the money!“, empfiehlt die europäische Bürgerbeauftragte O’Reilly derweil. Vielleicht vor allem dem der EU-Kommissare, ZwinkerSmiley. "Wir schaun dir in die Augen, europäischer Verblendungszusammenhang!" René Pollesch (aktualisiert) Auch ihren neuen Rüstungsbeschaffungsslogan „Buy European!“ sollte die Kommission schleunigst in derselben Schublade verschwinden lassen, aus der sie ihn gezogen hat. Die europäischen Militärunternehmen, die von EU-Rüstungsgeldern profitieren, befinden sich nämlich ebenso im Miteigentum der großen Investmentfonds wie ihre US-amerikanischen Pendants. BlackRock, Vanguard, Capital usw. besitzen clevererweise Anteile an EU-Rüstungsunternehmen und deren US-Konkurrenten zugleich. Dieses gemeinsame Eigentum (sog. „common ownership“-Problem) schafft nicht nur Anreize für höhere Preise und geringere Produktion, sondern bringt bekanntermaßen Wettbewerbsverzerrungen und das Risiko einer veritablen Trustbildung mit sich. In jedem anderen Wirtschaftssektor würde die Kommission ihre eigenen Wettbewerbsregeln mit Boxhandschuhen durchsetzen. Hier tat sie es nie. Dem Europäischen Netzwerk gegen Waffenhandel (ENAAT) erzeugte das alles schon Stirnfalten (tief), lange bevor mit dem Krieg in der Ukraine nun auch die letzten Schleusen der EU-zertifizierten Kapitalumschichtung in den militärisch-industriellen Komplex gebrochen sind: „Wir öffnen die Büchse der Pandora. Europa wird zu einer Cash-Cow (für die Rüstungsindustrie), zu einer Finanzierungsquelle ohne Einschränkungen.“ Egal! Hoch die zerschlissene Europa-Fahne, hoch das innere Bajonett, ruft die Kommission ihren sedierten Massen zu, die ihrerseits keinen gravierenden Widerspruch darin erkennen können, dass die EU ihrem unerschöpflichen Vorrat an Worthülsen nun einen ebensolchen an echten Patronenknallern zur Seite stellt - mit großem BUMM in diesen großen „Frieden“, dessen Worthülse ja noch immer in den Großbuchstaben ihrer Charta steht. Eine solche EU aber, mit Verlaub, wurde in Europa nie gegründet. Die teleologischen und interpretativen Verrenkungen, die die EU auf ihrem Weg vom Wirtschaftskrieg in die Kriegswirtschaft unternehmen muss, sind überraschungsfrei Legion. Alarmiert belehrt uns Gablers Wirtschaftslexikon, dass Kriegswirtschaften unter formaler Aufrechterhaltung des Marktes dessen zentrale Mechanismen außer Kraft setzen, um sie durch ein „auf militärische Zwecke ausgerichtetes Administrationssystem“ zu ersetzen. Europa, Hort kompromisslos freier Marktwirtschaft. Wo genau in den einschlägigen EU-Verträgen eine Kommissionsbefugnis zur Errichtung dieser „Spezialform der Zentralverwaltungswirtschaft zu Rüstungszwecken“ zu finden sein soll, das wissen nur die Götter. Längst sind die Kampfeinsätze der Kommission auf die rückstandslose Niederschlagung europäischer Gründungsgedanken gerichtet - durchgeführt im klassischen Stufensystem der allmählichen Eskalation: Erstschlag, Zweitschlag, Letztpulverisierung durch Atombumbum. Denn anders, als man es Sie heute glauben macht, passt die EU sich derzeit keineswegs reaktiv oder über Nacht an irgendeine überraschende Entwicklung der geopolitischen Jetztzeit an. Vielmehr legt sie die über Jahre angesammelten Ergebnisse ihrer Frankensteinschen Umwandlung in ein vertragswidriges Militarisierungsprojekt vor. Kommissionsintern war man auf diesen Krieg, der für Sie da draußen doch völlig überraschend gekommen war, schon aufs Trefflichste vorbereitet. Mit der „East StratCom Task Force“, dem „Strategischen Kommunikationsteam Ost“, hatte die EU sich schon 2015 ein eigenes Kampfmittel für den auf dem Feld der Deutungshoheit geführten Schlachtplatz des „hybriden“ Krieges geschaffen - ein offizielles Amt für Desinformationsbekämpfung, Wissensrektifizierung und informationelle Rechtgläubigkeit, das stets so ideologielastig, militant und auf verstandesquälende Weise irreführend war, dass es nur ausgemachten Vollidioten als „neutral“ erschien. Tambourmajorin vonderLeyen hatte die von ihr übernommene Kommission schnell von einem Instrument lebendig-demokratischer Konsensfindung in einen des dumpfen Kadergehorsams mit vertikaler Kommandostruktur verwandelt: „Von der Kommission Juncker zur Kommission Bunker“, wie es unter Journalisten zu Beginn ihrer Amtszeit hieß. Weise, gütig und vorausschauend, wie vonderLeyen nun einmal ist, hielt sie es schon 2019 für eine unbedingte Notwendigkeit, dem Organigramm dieser 2012 (versehentlich) zur Friedensnobelpreisträgerin erklärten EU den offiziellen Gliederungspunkt einer STABSSTELLE RÜSTUNG hinzuzufügen - ein veritabler Tabubruch, der Pessimisten, Kassandren und uns schon damals den allmählich stockenden Atem gefrieren ließ. Oder wenigstens jene viel zitierten Gründergestalten der EU, die ja - völlig arglos - die vorfeldintellektuelle Drecksarbeit zur europäischen „Integration“ geleistet hatten, ohne auch nur zu ahnen, wozu das im Jahre 2024 unter einer humanistischen BILDUNGSKANONE wie vonderLeyen einmal führen würde. Über eine Entwicklung wie die jetzige, die - mit vollem Bewusstsein ihrer derzeitigen Entscheidungsträger - auf die systematische Aufrüstung Europas hinausläuft, hätten sie nicht schlecht gestaunt: Bauklötze (Gr. 3XL). Denn immerhin steht sie in offenem Widerspruch zu den von ihnen verbindlich gezeichneten Unionsverträgen, in denen sie mit Artikel 41, Absatz 2 EUV - ebenfalls bei vollem Bewusstsein - ein strenges Finanzierungsverbot für Rüstungsgüter verankert hatten, genauer für alle „Ausgaben“ mit „militärischen und verteidigungspolitischen Bezügen“ aus den Haushaltsmitteln der Union. Bereits in der Vergangenheit war die Kommission um kreative Einfälle zur Umgehung dieses Verbots natürlich nie verlegen. Zuwendungen an die Kawummindustrie versteckte sie in Haushaltsposten für „Wissenschaft“, „Forschung“, „Entwicklung“, „Modernisierung“, „Infrastruktur“, „Wettbewerbsförderung“, „Kohäsion“ oder (neu im Programm) „Grünwerdung“. Und schuf nebenher finanzielle Parallelstrukturen Orwellschen Zuschnitts, um den zuverlässigen Abfluss von Geldern an den militärisch-industriellen Komplex über Schattenhaushalte sicherzustellen. Freilich nicht, ohne sich dabei exakt jener semantischen Umdeutungen zu bedienen, die George Orwell für die seelenlosen Herschaftssysteme kommender Zeiten vorausgesehen hatte - etwa die Europäische Friedensfazilität, die seit ihrer Gründung nichts als Kriegseinsätze finanziert, oder besagte Einsatzstelle für die Bekämpfung von „Desinformation“, der außer ihrer in billiges Feldgrau genagelten Ideologie nichts Informatives zu entnehmen ist. Jedenfalls nichts neben ihrer antiaufklärerischen Absicht, jede autonome, kritische oder auch nur bildungsbürgerliche Bewertungs- und Kontextualiserungskompetenz außerhalb ihrer vier eigenen Betonwände fürderhin unmöglich zu machen. Mittel und Wege, Programme und Finanzierungen, Umwidmungen und Falschetikettierungen - unter der (bekanntlich nie ganz altruistischen) Mithilfe eines parlamentarisch-bürokratischen Schwarzen Blocks aus konservativen Rüstungs- und neokonservativen Transatlantiklobbyisten, die seit je - und nicht nur in Brüssel - nibelungentreu miteinander verbunden sind. So weit sind wir mit unserer prophetischen Forderung „Waffeln statt Waffen!“ natürlich nie gekommen, obwohl sie weit weniger verrückt ist als alles, was in der militarisierten EU in den letzten Jahren entstanden ist. Es ist ein Manöver am äußersten Rand der rechtlichen Zulässigkeit, eine „Militarisierung auf den Trümmern des Rechts“, wie der Verfassungsrechtler Andreas Fischer-Lescano schon 2018 schrieb. Wenn die EU nun tatsächlich dazu überginge, zusätzlich zu all den bisherigen, schon bisher illegal unternommenen Militarisierungsschritten auch noch eigene (und eigenhändig gestohlene) Haushaltsmittel für ihre Rüstungsphantasien zu verwenden, entspräche das einem offenen Rechtsbruch. Die EU-Kommission verstieße damit gegen Text und Geist ihres eigenen Vertrags. Und sosehr (rüstungsaffine) Rechtsgelehrte sich in hirnverknotenden Interpretationsschleifen auch darzulegen bemühen, warum es aus rechtlicher Sicht dennoch rechtskonform sein könnte, diese rechtsverbindliche Vorschrift der EU-Verfassung mittels rechtswirksamer Rechtsbeugung zu umgehen, so müssen all ihre juristisch-semantischen Argumentationspirouetten doch spätestens dann versagen, wenn es um den vielbeschworenen GEIST dieser Verträge geht, die ABSICHT nämlich, mit der europäische Staaten sich in gemeinsame Gemeinschaft begeben haben und auf den zu beziehen die Europäischen Institutionen an anderer Stelle nicht müde werden. Tatsächlich standen jene Gründerväter - anders als die Töchter ihrer Söhne heute - noch unter dem unmittelbareren Eindruck der kontinentalen Verwüstungen zweier Weltkriege. Wir dürfen getrost annehmen, dass die von der europäischen Kriegs- und Nachkriegsgeneration vielfach referenzierten Schlachtworte NIE WIEDER KRIEG von der tiefstmöglichen Überzeugung nebst der festen Absicht getragenen waren, nie wieder einem Wahnsinn verfallen zu wollen, der es auf verdrehte Weise vernünftig erscheinen lässt, Unsummen finanziellen und politischen Kapitals nicht dem Glück und Wohlergehen der Europäer, sondern dem todbringenden Geschäft mit letalem Gerät zu widmen. Der Permanenz des Ausnahmezustands ist unter vdLeyen die Permanenz des Regelbruchs und blanken Prinzipienverrats hinzugetreten. Mit der Ausrufung der Kriegswirtschaft hat die EU, die ihren inneren Geisteszustand zuletzt ohnehin nur noch notdürftig verschleiern konnte, nun auch noch den letzten ihrer kobaltblauen Tarnanzüge abgelegt. Und während die EU zusammen mit dem beschämenden Großteil der europäischen Regierungen noch immer begierig in jedes Horn zu blasen bereit ist, das diese (noch immer nicht zur EU gehörende) NATO ihr hinhält, dürfen wir, da Frau vonderLeyen es in ihrer jüngsten Blutrede vergessen hat, den fassungslosen Rest der Welt zur endgültigen Beisetzung der europäischen Werte bitten: „Die Europäische Union muss mit der Produktion einer neuen Waffengeneration beginnen, um auf dem Schlachtfeld zu siegen.“ Wenn wir nicht wüssten, dass der Weltgeist ohnehin schon in psychiatrischer Behandlung ist, würden wir ihn spätestens mit dieser dadaistischen Volte einweisen lassen, denn eine „objektive Vernunft“, gar ein Europa (oder die Welt) durchwaltendes und ordnendes Prinzip können wir beim allerbesten Wissen nicht mehr erkennen, jedenfalls kein gutartiges mehr. Und vielleicht sind ja auch wir hier die allmählich wahnsinnig gewordenen Irren, denn es würde uns tatsächlich schon genügen, wenn die verschlagenen Verwaltungsmonstren, die dem europäischen Gründungsgedanken entstiegen sind, sich an die Regeln ihrer eigenen Verträge hielten. Wir hätten nie gedacht, dass wir einmal in die unangenehme Lage geraten könnten, europäische Verträge zu verteidigen, denn wir haben genug und reichlich an ihnen auszusetzen. Aber dass wir sie auch noch gegen die würden verteidigen müssen, die doch zu ihrem Schutz bestellt sind, eine amtierende Europäische Kommission mitsamt ihrer amtierenden Präsidentin, das wäre noch nicht einmal uns eingefallen. Nicht im farbenprächtigsten unserer Fieberträume. Denn, mit Verlaub, eine solche EU wurde in Europa niemals gegründet.

Despite being highly contested by Victor of the IG, I read all 300 pages and looked for any clues. I found a lot of the claims incredulous, such as the plane hugging the coast of Indonesia, it doing a cutback to search for a plane behind it, and a 20 minute holding pattern off the coast of Indonesia. None of it really made sense but then I noticed that flew directly through our Satellite coordinates if there was a minus sign missing. This had been a hot topic on reddit so I assumed we had cracked the mystery. This was the first smoking gun. The plane we were looking at was MH370 along the route the official narrative had it going. The data before this time was pristine, but at this time there was rows of 0s, and then for 5 hours after, just 10 total rows of data. Something was not right. I learned this was the time and location that the plane supposedly 'turned into the south indian ocean.' I realized that entire narrative was a lie. They had manipulated the data to fool the 'experts' and send them down the wrong path. I hypothesized that this could be a fire scenario, consistent with the Wired article I often reference. Only it wasn't an electrical fire, it was a lithium ion battery fire. While smearing law-abiding conservatives in recent years as "extremists," the Southern Poverty Law Center was seemingly getting into bed with bona fide Nazis — in one alleged case, perhaps quite literally. Heidi Beirich, the former director of the SPLC's Intelligence Project who was indicted and arrested on Wednesday, is accused not only of getting romantically involved, cohabitating, and sharing bank accounts with a neo-Nazi informant whose work she oversaw, but also allegedly committing fraud along the way. 'The charity that supposedly fought Neo-Nazis actually funded Neo-Nazis.' The second superseding indictment in the SPLC's criminal fraud case announced by the Justice Department on Wednesday sheds light on Beirich's various alleged improprieties as well as on the SPLC-linked activities of her alleged skinhead lover. Quick background The Alabama-headquartered smear- and fearmongering outfit was federally charged on April 21 with six counts of wire fraud, four counts of making false statements to a federally insured bank, and one count of conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. The SPLC — which has been credibly accused of bankrolling leaders and organizers in the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nation, the American Front, United Klans of America, the National Socialist Party of America, and the National Alliance with millions of dollars in donor funds through fictitious accounts — pleaded not guilty in May to all counts. FBI On June 2, the DOJ filed a superseding indictment against the SPLC detailing some of the ways that field sources allegedly used SPLC donor money, including to grow existing chapters of extremist groups; make donations to extremist group leaders; host extremist rallies; purchase materials for cross burnings as well as for KKK robes and hoods; and publish extremist literature for recruitment purposes. The June indictment also told the love story about a former Intelligence Project director and a field source referred to only as "F-9." The second superseding indictment filed on Tuesday fills in some of the gaps in that love story — including the former director's name, Heidi Beirich — and paints her in a particularly unflattering light. The SPLC, Beirich, and Beirich's attorney did not respond to Blaze News' requests for comment. There are three core components to the case against Beirich, who has been personally charged with wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to submit false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. 1. Shell companies Beirich is an anti-Trump liberal who served as director of the Intelligence Project from 2012 until 2019 and now serves as the chief strategy officer at the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism. In her latest capacity, she concerned-mongered before Congress in 2020 over the supposed problem of white supremacists in the military. The indictment alleges that Beirich opened and/or modified a series of bank accounts in the name of numerous shell companies, including the Center Investigative Agency, Fox Photography, Tech Writers Group, and Rare Books Warehouse — and knowingly signed bank documents "containing false statements for the purpose of influencing banks" to open and maintain the accounts. 'I knew it was that fat, ugly hog Heidi Beirich.' According to the indictment, the fictitious organizations Beirich allegedly helped stand up were never incorporated, conducted no legitimate business, and had no real employees. Funds from SPLC donors — who were led to believe they were supporting the fight against extremism — were allegedly funneled through the identified shell companies to so-called informants, including Beirich's alleged lover, F-9. 2. Thick as thieves Prosecutors allege that F-9 received millions of dollars in donor funds, primarily through the Tech Writers bank account, while helping the National Alliance "carry out its extremist activities." Beirich allegedly oversaw the SPLC payments to F-9 while engaged "in a romantic relationship" with him, said the indictment. Beirich is also accused of getting a taste of the action. "During this relationship, BEIRICH and F-9 shared a house and two bank accounts," the indictment alleges. "Between 2015 and 2021, approximately $140,000.00 in donors' money flowed from the SPLC operating account, through the Tech Writers account, and was ultimately deposited into the joint bank accounts held by F-9 and BEIRICH." The then-SPLC director allegedly used donors' money to pay for their shared living expenses, even though she does not appear to have been hard-pressed for cash. After all, when Beirich left the SPLC, she was reportedly earning $190,000 in salary and benefits. Whether their alleged romantic relationship is ongoing is unclear. 3. Another use for the Nazi informant According to the allegations, Beirich's informant broke into the National Alliance's headquarters in West Virginia in 2014 with her knowledge; stole 25 boxes of documents; transported those documents across state lines; and with Beirich's help, copied those documents before breaking back into the National Alliance headquarters to return the originals. Prosecutors alleged that Beirich paid for the copies with donor funds and used the stolen material for a "story to solicit more donations." The documents taken in the burglary appear to have served as the basis for Beirich's lengthy March 2015 "Hatewatch" article titled "Chaos at the Compound," where she discussed drama and mismanagement behind the scenes at the National Alliance. Beirich then allegedly "paid approximately $6,000.00 in donors' money" to a different field source "to falsely take responsibility for the burglary." After the June indictment came out and linked the SPLC to the burglary, William White Williams, National Alliance's 78-year-old chairman, told the New York Post, "I knew it was that fat, ugly hog Heidi Beirich." Protest and condemnation FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement on Thursday, "The charity that supposedly fought the KKK actually funded the KKK. I am the Senior Scripture Coordinator for the America Reads the Bible Initiative, a ministry partnership between the White House Faith Office and the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. My job is to select which passages get read, by whom, and in what order. I have a master spreadsheet. Four hundred and twelve reading slots across seven days. Each slot is fifteen minutes. Each reader gets a pre-highlighted King James Bible — not the God Bless the USA edition, that one is for retail — with their assigned verses tabbed in gold sticky notes. I studied theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. I have read the complete text seventeen times. I know what it says. That is why I was hired. The President's slot was straightforward. 2 Chronicles 7:14. "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." The passage calls for three things. Humility. Prayer. Repentance. In 2015, at the Family Leadership Summit in Iowa, the President was asked whether he had ever asked God for forgiveness. He said: "I'm not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so." When asked about repentance, he said: "I try not to make mistakes where I have to ask forgiveness." The passage he recorded calls for the one act he has publicly refused to perform. He delivered it with conviction. One take. We used the footage twice — once for the April marathon, once for the Rededicate 250 rally on the National Mall in May. A president reading about humility has no expiration date. I do not interpret. I coordinate. I was hired in January 2021, three weeks after Lafayette Square. You remember Lafayette Square. June 1, 2020. Federal officers deployed tear gas and rubber bullets to clear a path between the White House and St. John's Episcopal Church. The clergy of St. John's were among those gassed. I was brought on to solve it. The problem in 2020 was amateurism. You cannot simply hold a Bible. You must read from it. You must have a plan, a schedule, a run-of-show document, a team. We professionalized. The 2025 marathon at the Museum was the pilot program. The 2026 rally is the permanent infrastructure. The nine-hour prayer activation with cabinet-level speakers and livestream coverage is what happens when you apply event-production discipline to devotion. In 2020 he used it as a prop. In 2025 as a script. In 2026 as a system. The reverence scales with the production budget. We had considered giving him something from Corinthians, but there was a precedent concern. At Liberty University in January 2016, he referred to "Two Corinthians 3:17." The accepted pronunciation is "Second Corinthians." It circulated widely. We have kept him in the Old Testament ever since. Fewer Greek names. More familiar cadences. The Old Testament is logistically safer. In a Bloomberg interview that same year, he was asked to name his favorite Bible verse. He said the Bible was "very personal" and he didn't want to "get into specifics." When pressed on whether he preferred the Old or New Testament, he said "probably equal." He described communion — the Eucharist, the body and blood of Christ, the central sacrament of the faith — as "when I drink my little wine and have my little cracker." That was in a CNN interview. He calls the body of Christ "my little cracker." He is the figurehead of a national scripture initiative. These facts coexist without friction. We have filed the quote internally as a "relatability moment." It tested adequately with the non-liturgical demographic. I do not interpret. I coordinate. The God Bless the USA Bible retails for $59.99. Manufacturing cost is approximately $3 per unit from a printing facility in Hangzhou, China. It contains the King James Version, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance bound together under one cover. The Constitution's First Amendment prohibits the establishment of religion. The Bible says "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." Both documents instruct separation. We have bound them together in the same product and sell it for a 1,900% markup through a licensing arrangement with CIC Ventures LLC. Revenue in 2024: $1.3 million. The word of God costs three dollars to print. We sell it for sixty. That's not a markup. That's a tithe. The product fuses the two things both texts say to keep apart. That's not my department. I am a Scripture Coordinator. I select passages. I do not interpret merchandise. The Rededicate 250 rally is framed as a rededication of our nation to God. The word "rededicate" implies a prior dedication. The Treaty of Tripoli, ratified unanimously by the United States Senate in 1797 and signed by President John Adams, states: "The Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion." You cannot rededicate what was never dedicated. The Founders explicitly declined. "Install 250" tested poorly with the focus group, so we chose "Rededicate." We are not restoring. We are installing. The language is handled by the communications team, not by my office. The venue for the April marathon was the Museum of the Bible. The Museum was built by the Green family with Hobby Lobby money and a collection of biblical antiquities that federal investigators determined included thousands of artifacts illegally removed from Iraq. In 2017, Hobby Lobby agreed to forfeit the stolen items and pay a $3 million fine. The museum remained open. Exodus 20:15: "Thou shalt not steal." We read that passage on day three, Tuesday afternoon, 2:30 PM. Inside the building. Constructed on a three-million-dollar theft conviction. The venue is the context. The context is the sermon. Nobody paused. I did not pause. Pausing is an interpretation. I coordinate. The Ten Commandments were read in their entirety on day two. I have a checklist. His affair with Marla Maples during his first marriage was tabloid front-page news in 1990. Karen McDougal described a ten-month affair during the same period. The man with a felony conviction for hiding payments to a porn star is reading the book that says thou shalt not commit adultery. One reading of the Ninth Commandment. The ratio is the sermon. A youth minister from Virginia read it. She read it clearly. Exodus 20:7. "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain." The traditional interpretation: do not invoke God's name for empty, false, or self-serving purposes. Do not claim divine authority to legitimize personal profit. The licensing revenue was $1.3 million. The reading schedule. The rally. The seventeen faith offices across federal agencies. The Bible as brand asset. Exodus 20:7 was read on day two at 11:45 AM. It tested well in the focus group. Nobody connected it to the revenue structure. The Trump Foundation was dissolved in 2018. The New York Attorney General described a "shocking pattern of illegality." A court ordered the President to pay $2 million to veterans' organizations he had defrauded. He used charity money raised for veterans as personal and business funds. He stole from veterans and then read the book that says not to steal. Inside a museum built on stolen artifacts. They built the golden calf. Then they read the passage about the golden calf. Nobody in the room looked up. The Bible's most famous cautionary tale about idolatry — a golden statue of a leader, worshiped by the faithful — was read in the same faith ecosystem that produced a golden statue of a leader, worshiped by the faithful. Eighteen months apart. Nobody connected them. That is the definition of faith. Matthew 6:5. "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full." We staged a nine-hour prayer rally on the National Mall. Pete Hegseth prayed. Marco Rubio prayed. Paula White-Cain prayed. They prayed into microphones. On the street corner. On the largest street corner in the nation. To be seen. By tens of thousands in person and millions on livestream. Jesus described this exact scenario as what not to do. Matthew 6:5 was in my original reading schedule draft. It was removed in the second review cycle. The redline markup said "tonally inconsistent with event messaging." I am a theologian. I know what it says. I know that Jesus specifically, explicitly condemned the exact activity we were producing. I flagged it. My flag was noted. The passage was moved. Paula White-Cain runs the White House Faith Office. She is a prosperity gospel preacher. Her theology holds that financial donations to her ministry produce divine material blessings in return. Give money, receive God's favor. The Senate Finance Committee investigated her organization. Prosperity theology is classified as heretical by mainstream Protestant denominations, by the Catholic Church, and by Orthodox theologians. It is considered a false teaching by the vast majority of global Christianity. She runs the faith infrastructure of the federal government. She is the false prophet warning the nation about false prophets. That is called spiritual leadership. She selected the speakers. She opened the rally in prayer. On the street corner. To be seen. Matthew 7:15. "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits." That passage is not in the reading schedule. I recommended it. It was flagged as "potentially adversarial toward partner organizations." I was told to select passages about restoration and covenant and blessing. Fruit inspection was deemed outside the event's tonal scope. We briefly considered a Seven Deadly Sins reading block. Pride. Greed. Lust. Wrath. Gluttony. Envy. Sloth. The gold penthouse. The licensing revenue. The affairs. The daily attacks. The spectacle. The crowd-size obsession. The refusal to govern in detail. The focus group report came back: "potentially alienating to key demographic." We cut it. We replaced it with Psalms 33. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." That tested at 94% favorability. I will tell you what I did with the passages that were cut. I scheduled them for the overnight slots. Matthew 6:5 was read at 2:47 AM on day four by a volunteer from Topeka, Kansas. Fewer than two hundred viewers on the livestream. She read it perfectly. She read the most important passage in the entire schedule and I buried it in the dark because it describes what we are. Luke 19:45 — Jesus clearing the money changers from the temple — was read at 3:15 AM on day five. Matthew 7:15, the false prophets, went out at 1:30 AM on day six. Exodus 32, the golden calf, had its own slot but I also placed a supplemental reading at 4:00 AM on day three. The volunteer read it to what the analytics dashboard showed was ninety-four concurrent viewers. Every word of the Bible was read. In full. Over seven days. Including every passage that describes what we are doing. Including every verse that condemns the man at the center of the initiative. Including every commandment he has broken. Including the specific warning against public prayer for show. Including the specific prohibition on using God's name for profit. Including the specific condemnation of golden idols. All of it was read. At equal volume. To unequal audiences. The inspirational passages — covenant, blessing, restoration, national greatness — aired between 7 AM and 10 PM, when viewership averaged 14,000 concurrent. The passages about hypocrisy, theft, adultery, false prophecy, and idolatry aired between midnight and 5 AM, when viewership averaged 140. That's a ratio of 100 to 1. God's word was read in its entirety. We simply arranged the schedule so that the passages describing our operation would be heard by the smallest possible audience. The comfortable passages got the spotlight. The condemning ones got the graveyard shift. That is called curation. The Bible was read. The Bible was heard. Just not the parts that apply to us. Not at any volume that matters. I am a theologian. I have read the text seventeen times. I know what Jesus said about public prayer performed for audiences. I know what Exodus says about golden statues. I know what the commandments say about adultery and theft and false witness and God's name used for empty purposes. I know that every passage removed from the prime-time schedule is a passage that describes our event, our leadership, our revenue model, our apparatus. I know that the text we are celebrating is the text that condemns us. Every warning the Bible contains — about charlatans, about public piety, about golden idols, about profit wrapped in prayer — describes the man at the center of the initiative. The Bible is not on his side. He just has the microphone. I coordinated that. I selected the highlights. I buried the warnings. I tabbed the comforting passages in gold and left the dangerous ones for the dark hours when nobody was watching. 2 Chronicles 7:14. "If my people will humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways, then I will forgive their sin." The President recorded it in one take. He never paused on the word humble. He did not linger on the phrase "turn from their wicked ways." He read it like a man who has never considered that the passage might apply to him. He read it like a man who believes the call to repentance is for other people. He read it the way he held the Bible in front of St. John's Church — as an object to display, not a text to obey. And the permit was approved in eleven days. I do not interpret. I coordinate. The Bible has been read. Every word. To the nation. In its entirety. What the nation does with it is not a scheduling concern.

The ENGO’s Pattern and Practice Of Fraud And Other Illegality 41. Over the past several decades, numerous environmental non-governmental organizations (“ENGO’s”) putatively focused on the environment have been corrupted and coopted by money and special interests. As a result of that corruption, these putative environmental organizations have abandoned legitimate environmental action and instead regularly manufacture sensational and grossly misrepresented causes designed exclusively to perpetuate and enrich those organizations and their executives, and serve the interests of a shadowy network of foundations and business special interests who funnel monies to these organizations to serve their own undisclosed agendas. The central element of the business plans for these corrupted charitable organizations is to aggressively disseminate sensational, phony, and unsupportable claims to manufacture sham causes on topical hot-button issues, and then use those sham causes to raise funds from donors and special interests who might otherwise benefit from those causes. 42. One of the ways the corrupt organizations conceal their true operations is to create the illusion that their “campaigns” and high-profile “events” are grassroots actions by volunteers and local “victims” who are spontaneously rallying together for the promoted cause. In fact, these events are organized, funded, and produced by these corrupt ENGOs to create sensational media attention and drive traffic and donors to their websites. Wolfpacks of corrupt ENGOs regularly collaborate on these manufactured attacks, including “old-line” ENGOs like Greenpeace and radical and fringe eco-terrorists who engage in disguised direct actions involving violence, property, and business destruction, and fabricated claims and “evidence” of misconduct by those targeted by the campaigns. These radical fringe groups create public spectacles and generate fodder for putatively legitimate environmental organizations to trumpet Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 27 of 187 28 via-press releases and use as the basis to disseminate a parade of falsehoods deployed as part of a plea to the general public to “get involved” by donating or taking their own, more benign, direct action such as placing calls, or writing letters. Thus, at the heart of this fraudulent scheme are fundamental lies as to what these ENGOs do, their substantial funding, well-organized structures, powerful influences, and purposefully coordinated activities designed to create the appearance of an independent “grassroots” uprising by the people. These lies are perpetuated on donors, tax authorities, targets and their critical market constituencies, and the public at large. 43. If these corrupted environmental groups were genuinely focused on the environment, they would be focused on facts and science. Instead, they focus solely on situations conducive to sensational headlines that will induce strong emotions, and thereby “pressure” (i.e. manipulate) the public at-large. To “emotionalize” and manipulate the public, these organizations utilize what Greenpeace’s worldwide association internally refer to as “ALARMIST ARMAGEDDONIST FACTOIDS” that are presented as scientific facts but which the Greenpeace worldwide associations has admitted are really not facts, “do not hew to strict literalism or scientific precision,” and are instead only “hyperbole” and “heated rhetoric” that cannot be taken “literally.” Of course, were such disclaimers shared with the public bombarded by the untruths these corrupt organizations use to “emotionalize” donors and induce contributions, few if any would make such contributions. 44. For years, the Greenpeace Enterprise members as well as Enterprise members BankTrack, 350 .org, Sierra Club, Bold Alliance, Earthjustice, and the other putative “green groups” have regularly worked in concert to execute dozens of these fraudulent schemes. When the extortion succeeds, these putative environmental groups insist that their target publicly endorse their campaign and lies, which they then use to drive further donations and attacks. For Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 28 of 187 29 example, Enterprise members Greenpeace, 350 .org, RAN, Sierra Club, and BankTrack pursued a concerted campaign against companies extracting oil from the Canadian Tar Sands, and, in doing so, relied on the relentless dissemination of false but “ALARMIST SENSATIONAL FACTOIDS,” publishing the production of putatively spontaneous protests, violence, and other criminal activity. Indeed, Jane Kleeb, the founder of the extremist group and Enterprise member Bold Nebraska, identified a sensational campaign against the Tar Sands as business opportunity for Bold to become the face of a high-profile campaign against fossil fuel development. Consistent with their playbook, the ENGOs ubiquitously disseminated baseless and alarmist allegations of catastrophic impacts of extraction of tar sand oil, including in a September 2011 Greenpeace publication “The World’s Largest Carbon Bomb,” which threatened, among other things, that “carbon contained in the tar sands is enough to send Earth’s atmosphere into runaway heating, releasing ancient methane and killing sea life and forests, so that humanity could not reverse the heating regardless of what we do.” 350 .org echoed these same falsehoods, falsely representing that the tar sands are “one of the world’s largest and most dangerous pools of carbon,” which, if extracted, “will . . . mean more asthma and respiratory diseases, more cancer, and more cardiovascular problems.” Likewise, Sierra Club published a video in June 2012 entitled “The Tar Sands Pipelines: The Dirtiest Oil on Earth,” which accused the tar sands of “generating massive greenhouse gas pollution and dumping cancer-causing chemicals into the air and water.” And BankTrack claimed that the logging necessary to extract oil from the tar sands “is fatal for the climate.” These claims were completely untethered to fact but sufficiently sensational to generate high publicity and emotion and drive visitors and donors to the website of the tar sands pack. Based on these sensational and alarmist statements, the Enterprise staged protests and encouraged activists to get arrested to pressure politicians and the media. Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 29 of 187 30 45. That none of these corrupt organizations were driven by genuine environmental concerns, but solely by their desire for donation-driven publicity is demonstrated by their endorsement of and encouragement for the reckless, criminal acts of Direct Climate Action activists who illegally and dangerously stopped the flow of five oil pipelines carrying Canadian oil sands in October 2016 by shutting valves at pumping stations, despite the substantial risk that the pipelines would rupture or explode. In response, Greenpeace USA stated: “Greenpeace supports the brave activists” who engaged in these extremely reckless acts and created a substantial and immediate risk of a major environmental disaster. 46. Similar tactics were employed against Shell Oil’s exploration of potential oil extraction in the Arctic. In 2011, Earthjustice recruited a coalition of environmental and native groups to commence legal action to enjoin Shell from drilling in the arctic. The false and unfounded claims of calamity that would result from Shell’s drilling were ubiquitously disseminated by Earthjustice through an accompanying media campaign, and echoed by other putatively independent, but in fact coordinated ENGOs, including in a propaganda video created by Greenpeace and disseminated in June 2012 which falsely purported to show a Shell launch party ostensibly celebrating the company’s entry into Arctic drilling. The fake video, titled “#ShellFAIL: Private Arctic Launch Party Goes Wrong,” depicted a person attempting to pour a drink from a model oil rig, which suddenly malfunctioned and began uncontrollably spewing brown liquid. The video concluded with a purported Shell employee attempting to take the phone of the person recording the incident. The video was viewed over 500,000 times within one day of being posted online. As part of this “hoax,” the ENGOs created a fake Shell website, ArcticReady .com, which contained fake Shell marketing copy, including, by way of example, the statement on the website’s homepage that “That’s why we at Shell are committed to not only Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 30 of 187 31 recognize the challenges that climate change brings, but to take advantage of its tremendous opportunities. And what’s the biggest opportunity we’ve got today? The melting Arctic.” The hoax even included fake legal threats from Shell threatening legal action against journalists and bloggers who reported on the story. 47. Consistent with other campaigns, BankTrack, Greenpeace, Sierra Club and 350 .org targeted Shell and its critical market constituents with reputational damage, and summoned the radical ENGO contingency for militant protests to generate publicity for their coordinated opposition. For example, in May 2015, 350 .org organized “kayaktivists” in Puget Sound for a three day protest during which protesters surrounded a shell oil rig in kayaks and canoes. Likewise, on June 15, 2015, as Shell’s Polar Pioneer drilling rig was attempting to depart for the Arctic, “kayaktivists” blocked its path and delayed its departure, resulting in the arrest of numerous protesters for their criminal activity. In the days that followed 350 .org collaborated closely with Sierra Club to organize over 30 events in 15 days, culminating in a massive July 25, 2015 demonstration to protest the arrival of a Shell icebreaking vessel carrying a critical piece of drilling equipment scheduled to arrive in Portland, Oregon that day. On July 30, 2015, thirteen Greenpeace activists blocked that same vessel from leaving port in Portland by repelling from the St. John’s Bridge and creating an aerial blockade and preventing the ship from departing for the Arctic. The U.S. Coast Guard had to remove “kayaktivists” from blocking the ship’s path and, after two days, authorities had to remove the protesters hanging from the bridge. A federal judge in Alaska found Greenpeace to be in civil contempt of a preliminary injunction, and ordered the group to pay fines beginning at $2,500 per hour, and increasing to $10,000 per hour if the protesters did not cease their illegal activity by August 2, 2015. The next day, Sierra Club praised Greenpeace’s illegal activity, publishing a Facebook post, “Thanks to all the Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 31 of 187 32 #kayaktivists and the 13 brave Greenpeace USA activists for saying #sHellNo to Arctic drilling and fighting to protect the arctic!” 48. After Earthjustice’s initial lawsuit to halt Arctic drilling was unsuccessful, in June 2015, it commenced a second action, on behalf of Sierra Club and others, challenging the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s approval of Shell’s arctic oil exploration plan. Earthjustice’s press release accompanying the lawsuit warned, without citation to any factual or scientific support, that Shell’s plan “will devastate some of our most iconic wildlife” and “sets us on a path toward climate catastrophe as the latest science says Arctic oil must be kept in the ground in order to have a chance at keeping the planet safe,” and concluded by accusing Shell of having an “extensive eco-crimes rap sheet.” 49. The sustained campaign of unlawful behavior finally succeeded when Shell abandoned its Arctic initiatives in September 2015, after it had already expended over $6 billion in the endeavor. It was reported that Shell’s decision was, at least in part, made in response to the serious threats to Shell’s reputation due to the public protests. Among the protester’s heavy reporting of Shell’s decision, 350 .org posted on Facebook that “Shell’s decision to abandon Arctic drilling is a HUGE win for grassroots resistance to fossil fuels. Shell had to take billions of dollars in losses, and set back any plans to drill by decades. That makes it very likely that Shell will *never* be able to drill in the Arctic -- which is just one step we must take to avert catastrophe.” 50. The ENGOs’ opposition to genetically modified organisms (“GMOs”) provides another example of their illegal and coordinated campaigns. For years Greenpeace and other “green” groups, including Earthjustice and Sierra Club, have campaigned against GMOs, claiming that GMOs are unnatural, will produce unanticipated mutations that will devastate the Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 32 of 187 33 planet, and are not safe to consume. Their campaign, however, ignores the science, and is based on knowing falsehoods and their familiar scaremongering tactics to promote their cause and fraudulently manufacture donations. 51. For example, Greenpeace is stubbornly opposed to “Golden Rice,” which is genetically enhanced to address the vitamin A deficiency suffered by millions of rice-dependent people in poor countries, a deficiency that causes preventable blindness and death on a massive scale. Indeed, the World Health Organization notes that there are more than 100 million vitamin A deficient children around the world, and that 250,000 to 500,000 children become blind every year, with 50 percent of them dying from their deficiency. Despite the fact that there is no research suggesting that Golden Rice is unhealthy, and a four-year human study revealed no health problems resulting, Greenpeace attacked the study by issuing a press release claiming that “24 children used as guinea pigs in genetically engineered ‘Golden Rice’ trial.” Because Greenpeace had no science-based arguments to support its opposition to Golden Rice, Greenpeace’s press release demonized the life-saving rice as “another example of big business hustling in of one (sic) the world’s most sacred things: our food supply,” and, incredibly, claimed that Golden Rice is not necessary to solve vitamin A deficiency in millions of children because the problem can be solved by “overcoming poverty and accessing a more diverse diet.” Greenpeace claimed that Golden Rice is a “con” because: (i) increasing access to the many vitamin-rich food plants would address more than just vitamin A deficiency; (ii) we don’t know if Golden Rice is safe, and there is the potential to cause allergenic reactions; and (iii) a few multinational companies would benefit financially from “get[ting] us hooked on their seed.” 52. In furtherance of their campaign, following the illegal playbook of the extremist militant group Earth First!, Greenpeace activists destroyed GMO crops, causing significant Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 33 of 187 34 damage to both property and research in progress. As an example, in 2011, Greenpeace activists broke into an experimental farm in Australia and destroyed a plot of genetically-modified wheat engineered to benefit diabetics, causing $400,000 in damage and setting back the research by a year. Greenpeace proudly published a video of the break-in. The criminal activists were convicted of crimes for their actions and ordered to pay for the damage caused. Greenpeace paid the fine and did not rule out undertaking similar actions in the future. 53. Earthjustice has likewise been actively fighting GMOs for years through the commencement of lawsuits and the publication of alarmist statements on their website. Earthjustice claims that there is “no scientific basis” for finding that GMOs are safe to eat, and that GMOs “wreak havoc on the environment.” In addition to other alarmist publications, Earthjustice repeatedly characterizes GMOs as “Engineering an Environmental Disaster” on its website. Opposing the FDA’s approval of genetically engineered salmon for human consumption, Earthjustice warns that they “undermine the sustainability of our food supply,” “highlight the ways we have devastated many of our wild fish populations,” and will result in “an increase in exotic diseases and parasites.” 54. Consistent with the Enterprise’s playbook, Sierra Club has lent putative legitimacy to the Enterprise’s false claims by echoing Earthjustice’s, Greenpeace’s, and others’ false lies in highly sensational blog posts and on social media, and calling for a complete ban on the planting of all genetically engineered crops and the release of all [GMOs] into the environment, including those now approved, pending improved regulatory procedures and safety testing” based on the false allegation that “a growing body of scientific evidence demonstrates that GMO crops contribute to a host of environmental and human health problems.” Working Case 1:17-cv-00173-CSM Document 1 Filed 08/22/17 Page 34 of 187 35 alongside Greenpeace, Sierra Club aggressively campaigned against Golden Rice, thereby restricting access to Golden Rice to address blindness and Vitamin A deficiency. 55. Despite the ENGO’s blanket opposition to GMOs, Stephen Tindale, who spent six years as an executive director of Greenpeace UK, revealed in 2015 that while he was in charge of anti-GMO campaigns, he never believed that a blanket ban on GMOs was appropriate, believing instead that they should be “assessed on a case-by-case basis,” underscoring the fact that Greenpeace was no basis to believe that GMOs were universally unsafe and would lead globally to disease and other health risks. 56. In 2015, Greenpeace and other ENGOs manufactured baseless claims about Professor Anne Glover, the chief scientific adviser to the European Commission, to procure her termination because she recognizes the benefits and safety of GMOs. The ENGOs accused her of giving one-sided opinions on genetically modified crops and that she falsely claims that there is a scientific consensus about their safety, and succeeded in eliminating her position, prompting her resignation. 57. In June 2016, 107 Nobel Laureates signed a letter stating, “Organizations opposed to modern plant breeding, with Greenpeace at their lead, have . . . . misrepresented [GMOs’] risks, benefits and impacts, and supported the criminal destruction of approved field trials and research projects.” The letter urged Greenpeace to “re-examine the experience of farmers and consumers worldwide with crops and foods improved through biotechnology, recognize the findings of authoritative scientific bodies and regulatory agencies, and abandon their campaign against ‘GMOs’ in general and Golden Rice in particular.” Likewise, a 2014 study estimated that the Greenpeace-led opposition resulted in delays to the approval of the technology and the delay in India alone has cost 1.4 million life years since 2002.
