Some people are attacking Octavia for the "you chose HIM" line but actually, she isn't wrong. No matter how you look at it, her dad was willing to die for a guy she barely knows, even though he promised he would never leave her. I believe she has every right to be angry & sad
The fact that people are even talking about her "going back to school" proves how badly the 2026 ending neutered the source material.
In Stephen King’s novel, Carrie’s ending isn't a cliffhanger. She bleeds out in the dirt, heart stopping in the street after wiping Chamberlain off the map. It's a complete, fatalistic tragedy. By changing the ending to let her survive, the show cowardly traded a brilliant literary climax for plot armor and potential franchise extensions. It’s high time they stopped treating an absolute apocalypse like a teenage hiatus. #Carrie
a dark skin woman, a plus size woman and a trans woman at the helm… for all its faults fashion truly is leading in evolution while the rest of the world is struggling to keep up.
I love how an AI-generated photo highlights precisely the "cultural flattening of Filipino identity" that ALAMAT is fighting against.
A boy group of all-Filipinos yet so visually diverse as well as in background and language. AI could never conceive of it by itself!
at this point, diluc’s gonna be welcomed to snezhnaya with open arms. he’s gonna be like “oh my dad would never have wanted me to hold a grudge, I forgive you” and the tsaritsa’s gonna be like “you are no longer persona non grata. in FACT, you shall be my new consultant”
i hate to say it but i think this is because the group lacks a core cohesiveness. this isn’t even just about them as a four-piece. the entire group feels like four soloists trying to always one-up and outdo each-other. i love the girls but it’s just really noticeable to me.
