De James Webb telescoop is aangekomen in Kourou, French Guiana, vanaf waar hij met een Ariane 5 omhoog zal worden geschoten, na 14 jaar vertraging(!).

Lancering van deze 'opvolger van de Hubble-telescoop' staat gepland voor 18 december.
