Getting Started on a CRE Journey: A Little About Me
👋 Hello, #ReTwitt! I'm excited embark in this space of commercial real estate experts. I'm a 20-year-old college student that is enthusiastic about real estate and thirsty for information and connections.
devastated. heartbroken. In so much disbelief rn, I wish my leg broke earlier in the season so y’all could see this team is much more than the quarterback. I thought results matter. 13-0 and this roster matches up across any team in those top 4 rankings. I am so sorry. Go Noles!

Do you believe that Student Housing is almost a “recession proof” subset of multifamily?
I recently spoke to a luxury student housing developer and he told that if you develop around a thriving university, the property will almost never go down.
“9 times out of 10 you are going to get hired for who you know, not for your resume.” (Regarding Development)
Just spoke with a Multifamily developer that told me this, what are your thoughts?
Sounds like development is connections, connections, connections!

Active listening is a great soft skill that everyone must master.
Using phrases like, “As you mentioned…” or “can you elaborate on…” during a conversation make the person your talking to feel like you care.
Interviewers, clients, partners, and more will appreciate this.
In your opinion what would be the ideal first investment to get your foot in the CRE game?
I’m looking to do my first deal within the next year and am having trouble on which route to take.
-Land?
-House-flip?
-Small Multifamily value add?
What are you thoughts?
