Are you interested in in a temporary Year 1/2 post, in a lovely small class, on the Algarve? Vale Verde IS , Nr Lagos have a short term post which may well become permanent. For more information email or send your CV to [email protected]@EHU_NQT
This is a fantastic Padlet full of great resources for Reading for Pleasure. Most definitely worth exploring for Professional practice and beyond. @EHU_FOE@EHU_NQT @MrsCinUKS2 @Jake_Martin94@jpayg
@katiejanebowen1@MrTs_NQTs Pinterest often have good practical activities too if you type in ‘converting different measurements practical activities’ ☺️
@leese_mr@MrTs_NQTs Yeah I’d suggest maybe including something that has problem solving so that the activity is not over and done with quickly or having a problem solving extension? This could also encourage collaboration in the classroom?
Taken from Elevated Education…open ended question ideas. Could easily be printed and stuck inside your diary, or stuck up on the wall as a quick prompt.
Honest tweet! I was so looking forward to HT, the week off and resting basically doing nothing😭 but reality soon hit! With lesson planning for lesson after HT. any other trainee’s feeling the same🥺? How do I manage my workload but still enjoy time off #edutwitter@MrTs_NQTs
@Miss_K_Primary1 @MrTs_NQTs I’d agree about building a positive relationship, thank him at the end of the day for his help. Try and make sure your plan for him for the week is clear. Also maybe speak to your head or your mentor and ask for their advice.
@Miss_K_Primary1 @MrTs_NQTs Please don’t worry! Autumn term is so hard in so many ways. We all have moments like this but I’m sure you’re doing an excellent job. Look after yourself and make sure you have time to do things you enjoy, it’s so important to have that work- life balance! 💖
@Miss_C_trainee @MrTs_NQTs You could try quiet critters or a noise level display - both of these are popular ☺️ simple positive reinforcement for those who are quiet, waiting until they are quiet & saying ‘voices off’ when working also works!
@lizzieteaches6 @Miss_K_Primary1 @MrTs_NQTs@Y5Ect Think about your seating plan/TA support/where you are in the class, eg you could start off a group on a task with initial support then see if they can continue it by themselves. Could you provide steps for children to follow to help them complete a task, or top tips?
@lizzieteaches6 @Miss_K_Primary1 @MrTs_NQTs@Y5Ect Yes agreed! Think about what resources you can provide for children to access to help them. Resources such as numicon which is often used lower down the school, can still be great for certain topics in Y5. See what resources other classes have available that you can borrow!
@Miss_K_Primary1 @MrTs_NQTs@Y5Ect iPads can be useful, there’s all sorts of maths resources available online like maths games on @ictgames or online manipulatives/puzzles on mathsbot online.
