BREAKING: VINDICTIVE RETALIATION! Trump's own administration just admitted under oath that it canceled $7.5 billion in clean energy grants to states that didn't vote for him.
They finally admitted it. In their own words, in federal court.
The Trump administration canceled more than $7.5 billion in clean energy grants last October, claiming it was rooting out waste. As anyone with a modicum of consciousness expected, that was a lie. Federal officials have now conceded, in court documents, that they terminated the funding "based solely" on whether the recipient states voted for Kamala Harris in 2024.
Read that language again: "with one exception," a Department of Energy lawyer admitted, "the 284 terminated grants had a recipient location and/or at least one place of performance in a state that awarded its electoral votes to Kamala Harris... and has two Democratic-caucusing senators." The lawyer further conceded none of it was based on "any programmatic, statutory, cost-reduction or performance-based factor."
This isn't spin. This is the government confessing, under oath, to punishing Americans for how their state voted.
The Energy Department had originally recommended canceling over 600 grants across BOTH red and blue states. But when Russell Vought's budget office got involved, hundreds of grants in Republican states were quietly left untouched, while projects in Democratic states — grid upgrades in California and Oregon, methane leak reduction in Colorado, clean hydrogen hubs in the Pacific Northwest — got axed.
Vought even bragged about it publicly, framing it as killing "Green New Scam funding." This from a man who rivals Stephen Miller for the distinction of being the most evil person in the Trump administration — where there is admittedly quite a bit of competition for that title.
This directly contradicts sworn congressional testimony from Energy Secretary Chris Wright, who told lawmakers in June: "No decisions were made on politics." That claim just collapsed in a courtroom. It certainly sounds like a perjury charge is warranted here.
Senator Patty Murray and Representative Marcy Kaptur didn't mince words: "This is an astounding admission that the president and his team corruptly abused their power to kill good jobs and punish hard-working families because of their political views."
And it's about to get worse. The administration is finalizing new rules giving Trump's political appointees direct control over more than $1 TRILLION in annual federal grants — with power to block funding that doesn't align with his political priorities.
This isn't fiscal responsibility. It's a president using your tax dollars as a weapon against Americans who didn't vote for him and consolidating his authoritarian power.
Please like and share if Trump’s lies and vindictiveness make you apoplectic!

Keep in mind that Trump‘s persistent delusion and propaganda that 2020 was stolen is essential pretext to his attempting to interfere in the midterms and 2028. He’s been laying that ground since the day he was reelected. Wake up.
Davey Hearn is an upstanding citizen in Montgomery County, a three-time Olympian canoeist and a celebrated teacher of canoeing and kayaking in our community.
His Kafkaesque arrest and prosecution on Orwellian charges from Trump’s Reflecting Pool algae farm are a disgrace, especially given Trump’s mass pardon of Capitol rioters who actually destroyed federal property on January 6, 2021 and did millions of dollars of physical damage, in addition to wounding 150 police officers. Davey defaced no walls at the Kennedy Center, destroyed nothing at the Strait of Warm-Ooze and bulldozed no wings of the White House. Free Davey.
I’m for the war ending. But this deal - which boils down to the U.S. paying Iran billions to open the Strait - is final proof of how predictably disastrous this war was.
AMERICA: Reject trump's grifting and corruption with the same robust energy as Albania's citizens are kicking Jared Kushner and Ivanka to the curb.
THIS IS AWESOME!🔥🔥🔥
Pete Hegseth's D-Day speech was a grotesque, ignorant, and idiotic desecration of the memory of every Allied soldier who stormed Normandy — nothing but pure American white supremacist stupidity.
To stand at the graves of young men who gave their lives fighting an actual Nazi invasion and then equate desperate migrants in rubber boats with the Third Reich is beyond disrespectful — it's morally bankrupt, historically illiterate garbage.
Those heroes liberated Europe from the same kind of fascistic tyranny the authoritarian Trump regime is promoting in America, not from immigrants seeking a better life. Weaponizing their sacrifice for cheap far-right anti-immigration rhetoric dishonors their graves and exposes Hegseth as a comic-book nobody utterly deaf to history.
Shame on him. Pure, self-important vulgarity.
Trump promised not to “touch” Medicaid.
Now he is cutting it by $1 trillion and taking health care away from patients with cancer, AIDS and other life-threatening diseases to pay for tax breaks to the top 1% and his wealthy campaign contributors.
Unimaginable cruelty.
MORE Trump Corruption exposed!
Albanians below are battling police in Tirana over Jared Kushner’s luxury resort bulldozing a protected flamingo lagoon.
Albania fast-tracked the deal on Dec 30, 2024, just days after Trump’s election win.
Then Trump rewarded them with Javelins, a $6B gas deal, and Prime Minister Rama getting a seat on his Peace Board.
The Trump family grift hits Albania but those people aren’t having it. “Albania is NOT for sale!”
BREAKING: we just won our Kennedy Center case!
Both the renaming & the closure of the Kennedy Center are enjoined
Kudos to our wonderful client @RepBeatty
& my colleagues @DDAction_ & Washington Litigation Group
This is a 1-2 punch against Trump's corruption
🚨🚨🚨 It keeps getting worse
@lawyeroyer “The 1.8 billion Trump – Blanche slush fund is even more corrupt than we knew. Todd Blanche is offering to cut Republican senators IN on the PAYOUT to WIN their support. Please share widely and call your SENATORS to shut this down“‼️
Castro: CoreCivic is getting $13 million a month just for Dilley, and they run all these other detention facilities. If you think about what that represents, we’ve commodified child imprisonment. You’re allowing people to invest in child imprisonment—the imprisonment of two-year-olds, five-year-olds, and seven-year-olds who haven’t committed any crime.
🚨 The Pentagon summoned the Pope’s ambassador to a closed-door meeting and threatened him.
Named official. On record.
Undersecretary of Defense Elbridge Colby called Cardinal Christophe Pierre to the Pentagon and delivered this message:
“The United States has the military power to do whatever it wants in the world. The Catholic Church had better take its side.”
Then a U.S. official invoked the Avignon Papacy — the 14th century moment when the French monarchy used military force to physically remove the Pope from Rome and bend the Church to its will.
The Vatican understood the reference immediately.
The Pope’s planned visit to America for the 250th anniversary celebration was cancelled.
And then something remarkable happened.
The Pope didn’t retreat. He pressed harder. He called the war unjust. He called Trump’s threats unacceptable. He told Americans to call Congress.
God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.
Buttigieg: If you want a house, your mortgage went up because interest rates went up, because of this war. Your tank of gas got more expensive. The price of food this summer will be more expensive because fertilizer is more expensive because of this war. They are asking for an extra half trillion dollars for the defense budget. That is thousands of dollars from every household in this country. So we are paying directly for this. And what do we get in return? Is the world any safer? No
New York City’s Mayor just said what most elected officials won’t.
“We always seem to have money for war. But not to feed the poor.”
Mamdani didn’t stop there.
Thousands of civilians killed. Tens of billions spent. And every program that gets called “unrealistic” — housing, healthcare, schools — costs a fraction of what this war has already burned through.
He’s right.
Donald Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran has made your life more expensive.
And America less safe.
Vote every single Republican extremist backing this war out of office in November.
