📣Announcement of the recent nomination of the Milan Congress in 1880 in the UNESCO Memory of the World. The resolutions of the Milan Congress have influenced the devaluation of sign languages, contributing to generations of linguistic deprivation.
We want to thank the Singapore Deaf community for their support. We are extremely grateful and hope that this will lead to more accessible concerts and shows in the future. 🤞
We would also like to acknowledge the contributions of Deaf artists Shariffah Faaiqah and Lily Goh @EOHorizons in the access for this Coldplay concert. ✨
Thank you to the other interpreters, Azzam Akbar and Fang Shawn. You guys are such amazing people to work with and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. ❤️

@neilenore@dnlyong@SUBPAC@coldplay Lily Goh here, I am the one of the two Deaf artists who interpreted two songs, Something Just Like This and Hymn for the Weekend. Chris signed these two songs on different nights. For the first two nights, Something Just Like This. On the third night, Hymm for the Weekend…
This from Justina Miles..
