La situación es muy grave.

Este es el mapa de los 7 grupos armados que anunciaron ayer su unión contra el gobierno central de Abiy Ahmed.

Adís Abeba, la capital de Etiopía, peligrosamente próxima a un cerco táctico si las siete fuerzas coordinasen sus movimientos.

En la práctica no será fácil puesto que son organizaciones muy distintas, con etnias y prácticas diferentes, pero no deja de ser un escenario muy complejo para el Gobierno y Ejército Etíope si comenzaran las acciones coordinadas.

Por otro lado, la ruta de abastecimiento hacia las FAR en Sudán, corre serio peligro y solo podría sostenerse bajo una ruta de abastecimiento aéreo coordinada con Emiratos Árabes.

Sería mucho más compleja porque debería ingresar en espacio aéreo soberano de Sudán. El oeste de Etiopía queda desactivado.

Just one week ago, we were talking about how close Ethiopia was to the brink of collapse. Now, for the first time in a long time, we’re seeing an attempt to bring opposing forces to the same table and pursue a real political transition.

Like it or not, this is ETHIOPIA today. Those we disagree with are still Ethiopians.

FYI: The Oromuma Prosperity Gospel has killed and is killing more Ethiopians than Derg and TPLF combined.

So what are the alternatives? Should Fano go to 4Kilo by themselves and rule Ethiopia? Continue this Ethnic federalism? Should the Amhara pursue a separate state just like the other libration fronts? Or should we try for a genuine transitional government where everyone has a seat at the table?

But let me be clear: my eyes are on Fano. I trust Fano and Fano is the only force that represents me. I’m not putting my trust in any other group in this alliance. I’m trusting Fano to protect Amhara interests while navigating this process.

Accountability should be addressed at the table after the current regime (Abiy Oromuma Properly Gospel) is removed. A genuine transition means talking to people who oppose you not one man claiming “I alone can transition Ethiopia” እኔ አሻግራችኋለሁ while Ethiopians continue to suffer.

And nothing is set in stone. This is still an active, evolving alliance. Some groups may leave, others may join and the details may change.

You don’t have to trust everyone involved or forget what happened. But ask yourself: What other option do we have?

I support this alliance because survival of our PEOPLE is bigger than any one political project, ideology or regime.

Survival first. Accountability next. Then we fight for the future we want.

Fano represents me. Fano is my focus.
