@matthew_kr16731 @murphmedia_ Both goalies rocked in that game. Not just Wally. Choice between rookie with heart and desire to play vs apathetic veteran who has been struggling coming into playoffs. Personally, I'm taking the rookie. Gus's attitude really burning a bridge here for me.

@RussoHockey @JoeSmithNHL @nytimes Disheartening to see quote in Joe Smith article from Gus. Not what is expected from a #1 goalie. Rather see @youngbeaups dress vs Gus with that attitude. Not sure how that attitude is fixed. Do we know what team are not on his NMC for his contract?

@B_Marsh92 Looking at the performance of both goalies coming into the playoffs, its hard to argue for Gus. Bad game last night? Sure. Gus had a number leading up to the playoffs. Give the kid a second game to respond. If he's rough again, pull him before end of game.

Have heard a number of podcasts criticize this. Surprised this wasn't lowered or "exclusion" criteria wasn't included.
