Rivian removed the R2 seat-back fans from my 12K VIN but left the wiring and the mount.

So I put one back. Plugs right in, no warnings. Pure Seat+ bliss

This is not unique to the Roadster. RJ talked about the tradeoffs of energy vs. power for the R2 4695 cells.

You can get higher energy density by giving up power. Thicker electrodes and higher active-material loading store more energy per kg they just can’t deliver it as fast. It’s a trade-off
