There is no debate on who is the most valuable player in NFL history.
You can debate if that's the same as the best or most accomplished/successful player, but no one added more value to his team than Manning.
🚨 Thierry Henry on Argentina knocking Egypt out of the FIFA World Cup:
🗣️ “This one feels like outright daylight theft on the pitch.
I’m not questioning Argentina’s talent they’re stacked with elite players but they didn’t merit the victory tonight.
Egypt fought tooth and nail to establish that two-goal cushion. They showed real grit in defense, flair going forward, and fully deserved every bit of their advantage.
The game shifted because of the officiating, in my view. That early penalty for Argentina already looked questionable, and from then on, it seemed like every big call went against Egypt.
Those moments completely altered the flow and handed Argentina the lifeline they needed.
Egypt will be devastated leaving this competition. They came so close to pulling off what would have been one of their finest triumphs.
Football can be won through moments of genius or through disputed calls and right now, the refereeing decisions will be talked about just as much as the action on the field.”

🚨 José Mourinho on Argentina vs. Egypt:
“This is daylight robbery. It’s a shame what football is becoming. How do you let the play continue, allow the goal to be scored, and only then decide to go back and cancel it? If there was a foul, stop the game immediately. Don’t wait until after the goal.
Then I ask another question—why wasn’t Argentina’s first goal reviewed with the same attention when it looked very close to offside? Why was every incident involving Argentina checked, while Egypt didn’t seem to get the same treatment?
VAR is supposed to bring fairness, not confusion. Today, it looked like every important decision went in Argentina’s favour. Football deserves better.”
🚨Thierry Henry on Argentina eliminating Egypt from the FIFA World Cup:
🗣️ “For me, this feels like football robbery in broad daylight.
I’m not taking anything away from Argentina’s quality because they have world-class players, but I don’t think they deserved to win this match. Egypt worked incredibly hard to build a two-goal lead. They defended with courage, attacked with confidence and earned every bit of that advantage.
The turning point, in my opinion, was the refereeing. I didn’t agree with the penalty that was awarded to Argentina earlier in the game, and after that it felt as though every important decision was going against Egypt. Whether people agree or disagree, those moments changed the rhythm of the match and gave Argentina the momentum they desperately needed.
Egypt will leave this tournament feeling heartbroken because they were so close to one of the greatest victories in their history. Sometimes football is decided by brilliant moments, and sometimes it’s decided by controversial decisions. Tonight, I believe the officiating will be discussed just as much as the football itself.”
How far back in the play does VAR go ? Back to kick off soon !! Hint of farce about that Egypt goal being ruled out. The goal would have stood for 150 years prior to VAR.
⚠️ UPDATE: #IL08 candidate Melissa Bean (@Melissabeanil08) has now benefitted from >$2.4 million in spending by AIPAC and the Israel lobby.
It's time to rally for @JunaidForUs for #IL08!
Now more than ever, we need Members of Congress who will say:
"No, I won’t take your dark money.
No, I won’t take your AI money.
No, I won’t take your AIPAC money.
Because I answer to the people, not the oligarchs."
@JunaidForUs is that type of leader.
“You always doing this Scott. You cheated the Pacers all the way throughout out the Finals last year. Don’t cheat me, dumbass.”
— Jason Kidd to Scott Foster 😳
@SFGreat_America Thanks, I’ll try to purchase them altogether again tomorrow. Didn’t know if was an issue since they’re all renewals. If any issues, can you please recommend someone to contact?
@SFGreat_America I have 2024 Gold Pass and trying to renew 4 passes for 2025. For renewal on website, must I do each ticket one at time and pay processing fee each transaction? Or can I do all of them in one transaction? For some reason, it’s not allowing.
@mehdirhasan@AOC @RadicalConcepts I know he was writing about something else but Ezra was on the mark with this: “Anybody with a worried mind can never forgive the sight…Of wicked snakes inside a place you thought was dignified…” - Vampire Weekend, ‘Harmony Hall’
The foul allegations of rape have been dropped by the Israeli government. The forty beheaded babies has been downscaled to one dead baby, not beheaded, and killed by persons unknown. Two thirds of Israelis killed on October 7 were military personnel. The killers of the remaining one third are definitively revealed to have been in part the Israeli armed forces themselves. Those with influence who spread the propaganda to the contrary stand exposed as War Criminals and now much blood stains their character for ever. It is a spot which will not out. #Gaza_War #GazaCeasefire #GazaHolocaust #GazaHospital
@Budget Why close your counter and send people to @Avis when you know there are flights landing and travelers ready to pick up their rentals?? What’s the point of your Precheck? To stand in line 20 people deep?? One person working to do all this at the counter. @BWI_Airport
#Colts called their bluff. Taylor could stay on PUP all year and have his contract toll so he’d still have another year on his rookie deal going into 2024. Malki has really screwed this up for @JayT23. The best thing JT could do is fire his agent and bring in someone experienced.
@mchappell51 But if a team is willing to trade us that haul, does the extension really matter to us? It’s someone else’s headache at that point. Possible the trade might not happen unless JT agrees to extension but he’s just fighting against himself then.
