2025 - Successfully completed the 1st batch of free EcoSTEAMNinjas after-school program

2025 - Ongoing working with Jefferson County regarding the McIntyre 500,000 sq-ft. warehouse

2025 - Working with ECMC regarding 160 oil wells in Lowry ranch, Aurora

2024 - Ban of Toxic PFAS from menstrual products, cookware, ski-wax, etc.

2024 - with ECMC on cumulative impacts and produced water governance for oil & gas industry

2023 - made history as the youngest UN Child Advisor for the formulation of UN General Comment No.26

2023 - addressed the UNGA in NY to take action against toxic PFAS, globally

2023 - Set Guinness World Record with Jeffco Public schools for recycling markers

2023 - with EPA Water Head Ms. Fox and US EPA Chief Mr. Reagan to protect Drinking water all over USA

2022 - Ban Toxic PFAS from furniture, toys, cosmetics, etc. in Colorado

2022 - Worked with Gov Polis to declare March a PFAS Pollution Impact Awareness Month.

STOP Fracking Near Homes! #OurPlanetOurHealth

I'm Madhvi Chittoor, 14 yr-old EcoWarrior.
Can you believe that 160+ oil wells are in the process of being permitted right in our residential backyards at the Lowry Ranch in Aurora?

One of the things I dread about fracking/oil wells is the massive deterioration of the air quality caused by their invisible emissions and flaring. Imagine breathing in, methane, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide etc. day-in and day-out and phew! the rotten egg smell that we cant get away from. I witnessed this firsthand in the Permian Basin in Texas. #PermianBasin #Texas

We can be certain that there will be a 25% increase in respiratory illnesses, cancer, congenital anomalies, neurological issues & mental health concerns, if not more, and mind you, children will be disproportionately impacted.
Further, air pollution has no borders & impacts all. So, I call upon the community to fight and STOP fracking in our backyards and also I call upon the Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission and the @ArapahoeCounty Arapahoe County government to STOP this fracking madness in residential neighborhoods and put people first and not profits! #ColoradoECMC #PeopleFirstNotProfits

I'm happy to share that I had a blast giving a performance of the traditional Bharatanatyam dance on July 25th at the Jefferson County Library Foundation #JeffersonCountyLibraryFoundation volunteer appreciation event themed, 'A Day In India' at Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation.

I thank the Director of Jefferson County Library Foundation Director, Ms. Jo Schantz, for inviting me to give the performance.
Jefferson County Public Library also had representation at the event.

I presented 4 dance 'urupadi' or pieces - Pushpanjali, Alarippu, Murugan Kavuthuvam and Mangalam. I have attached the video of only Pushpanjali in this post.

In New Mexico, far away in rural areas, I saw the white band of the Milky Way! It was breathtaking! So, many stars and Venus shining bright ! There was no city light pollution and it appeared that many stars were competing with Venus fior brightness! ♉✨⭐ We must fight against the #lightpollution! I took some photos with Night setting with my iPhone. Please zoom in and see the pictures! By no means do these photos do justice to what my eyes could see! Today, I was at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds @JeffCoFairgroun for the Jefferson County Library Foundation @JeffcoFriends #WhaleOfABookSale .

Great used books for sale. Huge turnout of people. I bought many books and puzzles. It runs till Sunday Oct20th.

Further, I also had set up a table with #ecofriendly gifts like bags, stainless steel lunch/snack boxes, my handmade paper bracelets and my books.

I also spread word about my #ParentsToThePolls campaign , urging people to exercise their right and privilege to vote and also to vote for candidates who care for our ecosystems. #VoteForClimate #VoteBlue #votefordemocracy #votefordemocrats
