@JRosenhoff@OhHowByronic you can opt out of certain gov't provided services in Denmark in return for a reduction in your taxes - which you can't - then my comments apply regardless of whether I have ever been to Denmark or can even find it on a map.
@JRosenhoff@OhHowByronic Wrong on both counts. I have probably been to Denmark 30 times and I have a number of Danish friends -- my group has also owned buildings in Copenhagen and have owned multiple companies in Sweden (which has many similarities). But, in any event, unless you are telling me that
@OhHowByronic Another point: which supplier of a service do you think is going to do a better job of satisfying its clients, one that gets paid by the government out of money from 3rd parties or one that gets paid by clients using their own money?
@OhHowByronic Even if this were true - fact check: it isn't - it ignores the fact that being able to choose which services you want, instead of being forced to pay for the entire package through taxes, is beneficial and, frankly, fairer.
@AskLyft and gotten a car there, we could have saved ourselves and the Uber driver a lot of time (and money). How about building a function in your app that, when it sees this problem (which is visible on GPS), suggests an optional brief walk and an alternative pick-up spot?
@AskLyft
A suggestion for you guys: I was recently in Lima using your competitor. We called for a car, which was severely delayed in arriving and then more delayed in departing because of a severe but very local traffic problem. We realized that, if we had walked about 5 min
@your1commander@PollTracker2024 Ok, commander. (Btw, not surprising for someone asinine enough to use that moniker. Asinine and pathetic, and certainly totally counter factual.)
