@aCarnivoreDiet @BioLayne Coming from someone who doesn’t understand a) that both sugar AND animal fats have inflammatory effects in a hyper caloric diet and anti-inflammatory effects in a hypo-caloric diet; b) that the body too attempts to tightly regulate serum triglycerides 🤦♂️
@BingaBong2022@stkirsch The plastic brushes used to collect cells aren’t soaked pre-sampling, they are placed in the solution AFTER the sample is taken 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
@GladstoneB81859@essentialmattrs@PeterAttiaMD Noticed how these studies always use supplemental protein isolates (which we know to be good quality? Are you convinced you’d see the same outcome if they consumed food only?
2) it’s been suggested that the source/quality of protein (i.e., animal vs plant) does not influence long term outcomes when total intake >1.6g/kg/d - the study cited for this enriched both diets with protein isolate supplementation…are you convinced we’d see the same without?
@mackinprof thanks again for an interesting presentation (IOC webinar)! I still have a couple of questions; 1) if meal by meal MPS is increased with high protein intake, why do we not gain muscle with dietary interventions alone? (I asked this but think it got misunderstood 😁)
@MichaelSaleh1@sweatscience Although @sweatscience, were you aware of this?

It seems roughly 25-52% of isolated CBD in vaping liquids is transformed via pyrolysis into mainly psychoactive Δ9/Δ8-THC and cannabinol, at typical real world vaping temperatures.
@brady_h@MartinJDolfi Great? Essentially 2000 mg of that blend is pea protein isolate…a totally useless and unjustifiable dose added to bulk it out in plain sight, leaving only 700 mg for about 15 other ingredients, making it impossible to achieve an effective dose of anything 🤦🏼♂️
@CartlandDavid It would be more believable if terms like “turbo cancer” weren’t used and there was a logical and reasonable mechanistic link between the insanely varied claimed responses.
@Veganella_@Entela_the_best @fckthatplastic @RapidSpud@AshWilke IIRC this study had those in the veggie group supplement with soy protein, and whey in the omni group? Both of which have excellent AA profiles. Whilst I agree that plant sources can be sufficient, I’m not convinced a study with a supplemented diet is the most valid support.
