(FR/NL) Je suis la situation au Moyen-Orient heure par heure avec la cellule de crise des Affaires étrangères. Je sais que beaucoup d’entre vous sont inquiets, pour eux-mêmes ou pour leurs proches. Cette inquiétude est légitime.

Nous sommes en contact permanent avec nos ambassades sur le terrain et avec nos partenaires européens. Nous analysons en continu l’évolution de la situation et les options possibles (dont des évacuations) pour garantir la sécurité de nos ressortissants. Environ 26.000 Belges sont dans la région dont ~2.450 touristes.

Dans le contexte actuel d’échanges de missiles et de fortes tensions régionales, l’utilisation de l’espace aérien reste extrêmement risquée et incertaine.

La priorité, dès que les conditions le permettront et que l’espace aérien sera rouvert, sera de permettre le retour des ressortissants via les vols commerciaux, en coordination avec leurs compagnies aériennes et les autorités locales.

En attendant, je vous demande de suivre strictement les consignes des autorités locales et de vous mettre en sécurité.

Ik volg de situatie in het Midden-Oosten uur per uur samen met de crisiscel van Buitenlandse Zaken. Ik weet dat velen onder jullie ongerust zijn, voor zichzelf of voor hun naasten. Die bezorgdheid is volkomen te begrijpen.

We staan voortdurend in contact met onze ambassades ter plaatse en met onze Europese partners. We analyseren de situatie continu en bekijken alle mogelijke opties (waaronder evacuaties) om de veiligheid van onze landgenoten te garanderen. Ongeveer 26.000 Belgen bevinden zich in de regio, waarvan ~2.450 toeristen.

In de huidige context van raketaanvallen en sterke regionale spanningen blijft het gebruik van het luchtruim bijzonder risicovol en onzeker.

Zodra de omstandigheden het toelaten en het luchtruim opnieuw wordt geopend, zal de prioriteit liggen bij het mogelijk maken van de terugkeer via commerciële vluchten, in coördinatie met hun luchtvaartmaatschappijen en de lokale autoriteiten.
