The only scenario left for Korea 🇰🇷 IF they make it to the Round of 32 will be a date with Belgium 🇧🇪 in Seattle.
Crazier things have happened, but KNT fans must temper their expectations.
We need a lot of things to go our way today.

I am embarking on my first visit to Europe since taking office. At a time of overlapping global crises, this journey will be an opportunity to broaden the horizons of our cooperation and strengthen the foundations of Korea’s economy and diplomacy.
My first stop will be Belgium—a country that has cultivated a rich history and culture while embracing diversity. As a key logistics hub in Europe and home to a dynamic and innovative SME ecosystem, Belgium will be a trusted partner in expanding the presence of Korean businesses in Europe and creating new opportunities for growth.
There is also tremendous potential to deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges. With BTS set to hold its first standalone concert in Belgium early next month, I believe it will further deepen the bonds between the younger generations of our two countries.
This year marks the 125th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Belgium. I hope my first meeting with Prime Minister @Bart_DeWever will serve as a stepping stone toward advancing our bilateral partnership and opening a new chapter of future cooperation.

I welcomed Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and FM @prevotmaxime for a bilateral meeting. Belgium, a true friend that stood with us during the Korean War, has been our important partner in trade and cooperation. We agreed to work closely together to make next year’s 125th anniversary of our diplomatic ties as a milestone for further deepening our relations.
Strengthening climate ambitions for global good 🌐
GCF CIO Henry Gonzalez & Belgium Deputy PM @prevotmaxime reaffirmed their commitment to effective #ClimateAction through innovative finance, discussing ways to collaborate, especially in scaling up private sector partnerships.
