19 graduating American Indian/Alaska Native @slcschools seniors were honored for their accomplishments in high school. Each student received a certificate with a list of academic and cultural achievements and a stole and blanket for graduating.

I had a great conversation the other night with my wife's grandmother, Edith Reed, about education. She's a former SLCSD teacher and got her first teaching job at Emerson in 1938. She's 100 years young and still teaching piano lessons! One of my heroes. #SLCSDsuperheroes
