@MaryHayser I genuinely smiled when I saw this ad by JetBlue! It really is relatable, so many of our dads do this at the airport. So I definitely agree with you, I think a relatable ad can be just as powerful, if not more, than a promo.
@HarrisonH369 I couldn’t agree more! I know some other platforms have created their own “wrapped” and replicated Spotify’s, but every year Spotify executes its so well. Spotify Wrapped is one of the main reasons I have such high brand loyalty to Spotify.
@faithmilitello@RetailPro369 This is such a great example of gender segmentation! I was really intrigued by Mom Water when I first heard of it - is it water? Why is it called “Mom”? I think the name stimulates a lot of curiosity for customers and it’s such a smart marketing strategy!
Data on microplastic exposure is concerning, but there are solutions, like using cotton. Cotton textiles shed biodegradable microfibers, unlike synthetic fibers that can enter the environment and ultimately our bodies. Check out @CottonInc to learn more! #cotton X5 @RetailPro369
Did you know that microplastic exposure can cause hormone disruption, inflammation, and cardiovascular risk? Researchers have found microplastics in humans’ digestive, reproductive, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems, as well as human brain tissue. #plasticpollution
In this ad, @ChipotleTweets educates customers about its new protein menu while showing clips of each item, helping them choose based on protein grams. Customers’ questions about protein content are effectively answered, while the ad also drives traffic to the app for ordering!
All of these elements increase website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. This is why even after Glossier rose to rapid popularity around 2018, it is still able to stand out and appeal to Gen Z through its high quality products and visuals. X4 @RetailPro369
A brand whose website has always stood out to me is Glossier. Check out these short clips of the website to see how Glossier utilizes in-depth product descriptions, customer reviews, social media integration, usage tips, and overall clean, yet engaging visuals.
One of @IKEA’s buyer personas is the new parent who values affordable, safe, and durable furniture that can grow with the family. By visualizing how it can support young families amidst the chaotic and fast-paced lifestyle, IKEA effectively resonates with new parents.
Today, we pledge our first patent to make the IKEA Anchor and Unlock innovation available to others. Read how this new feature aims to reduce tip-over risks, an important milestone on our innovation journey on furniture stability ➡ https://t.co/OVpe1x0jzT
In the oversaturated fitness tracker market, Oura uses psychographic segmentation to target health enthusiasts, tech-savvy, and fashion-conscious consumers. Its marketing aligns with consumers’ values and lifestyles rather than feeling generic! X3 @RetailPro369
Notice how Oura’s Instagram features content of its technology, style, and health benefits? Oura is utilizing psychographic segmentation to resonate with consumers on a deeper level and this is why it is a brand retailers should be watching when it comes to market segmentation.
@carolineever369@RetailPro369 Agreed! I’m not a huge fan of PSL, but I knew Starbucks released it because everyone on campus was talking about it. Even though it feels early for Fall, Starbucks has such strong brand loyalty that it’s kickstarted the season for so many consumers through just a menu item.
@MalloryRiske Well said! Collaborations are impactful for customer growth because they can reach two audiences instead of one. Target has been doing more collabs this past year, and I have learned about brands such as Lilly Pulitzer and Roller Rabbit that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise!
@ChickfilA released its new menu item: chicken and waffles! 🍗🧇
Many consumers associate fast-food chicken and southern hospitality with Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A didn’t create a new menu item that’s irrelevant, but fits seamlessly with the brand and its customers’ taste profile.
More brands need to watch and learn from Chick-fil-A when introducing new product to sure it aligns with the brand identity and not feel random to consumers!
@RetailPro369 Poppi does incredibly well with understanding Gen Z. On its Instagram in particular, Poppi consistently plays into Gen Z humor/current memes, current trends online such as Love Island or the dot cake, and works with many influencers and brands popular with Gen Z. S3
@RetailPro369 This post may just seem fun and simple, but it's also such a strategic move by Crumbl to collect market data on which product is the most popular. Additionally, Crumbl will a recieve a high amount of engagement on this post, as I myself even went to the post to see which one won!
@RetailPro369 This post by Crumbl is such a fun idea! A consumer may be concerned with seeing an official response statement, but then they see that Crumbl is promoting its KitKat cookies and are influenced to buy. Consumers are more likely to engage with a brand that is personable like this!
