Big love to @EKerekere for providing us a facsímile copy of Te Tiriti for us to do our affirmation to the Queen. Loved seeing Trevor Mallard borrowing a page from Elizabeth, too! It made the whole experience a little ledd awkward.
I respect youth mental health work led by Chloe but was hoping Dr Elizabeth Kerekere would pick up mental health given her expertise in this aspect of Rainbow/Māori issues - and by the way Green friends who will be fighting mining industry with us? Is there portfolio I missed ?
The Greens took a hit, because of what James Shaw did, but I’m sticking by them ... it’s just not FAIR nor KIND that Labour and NZ First are letting the Greens take ALL the flack for this, they signed off on it too! #partyvoteGREEN
I’m party voting Greens this election to elect Teanau Tuiono & Elizabeth Kerekere & because of their strong kaupapa Māori and Te Tiriti policies. I’m still proud that I played a leading role in developing many of these policies and I’m stoked to see them developed even further.
There is a lot of waste in iso - our food comes in so much packaging. Teau Manea Miriama Singer (9) is in quarantine with her brother and mother. This is what she designed and made in their hotel room from the bags their food got delivered in – upcycled fashion. Wow!
