The ongoing case involving our leader Dr. Kizza Besigye has made one thing abundantly clear; this is not a matter of genuine prosecution, but a calculated campaign of political persecution by the Museveni regime.

​Celebrations about the transfer of civilians from military courts-martial to civil courts were entirely premature. Rather than signaling a return to the rule of law, the civilian courts have simply inherited the role of state theater.

​Pretended justice has clearly been revealed today when Justice Baguma abruptly stormed out of the courtroom while being addressed by the accused.

Such actions expose the judiciary's lack of independence and willingness to participate in a staged process. Neutral arbiters of law, have been turned into a stage for political theater designed to suppress dissent.

Justice can never be buried in the dark. Amidst all this persecution, our leaders cheerfully said "NEVER SURRENDER"
