@aviancaescucha Oh and btw, my 8:20am flight that was delayed to 10:15am still hasn’t finished boarding as of 10:26am. I’ve just been sitting at this gate dehydrating for the last hour and a half now.
I need someone at @avianca to explain to me why your gate agents just made me empty my water bottle at the gate (after already being past security in the terminal) so that I now have no access to hydration for the next hour as I wait to board.
@aviancaescucha I have. They did absolutely nothing. I asked them to book me on a flight on a different airline that left earlier, and they refused. Your customer service is abysmal. I don’t need to track my flight; I need it to leave on time.
Why can airlines (@avianca this time) charge $1000+ for a flight, take off 2.5 hours late (not due to weather or anything - they gave no reason), causing missed connections resulting in an entire lost day of a trip, and have absolutely no liability in the matter? @SecretaryPete?
@aviancaescucha I’m not talking about security to get into the terminal. I’ve been sitting in the terminal for 4.5 hours since my flight got delayed (again). I understand how that works. I’m talking about having to go through a scanner at the gate where they made me pour out my water.
@aviancaescucha I did. I’ve yet to hear anything, and I’m currently sitting at the airport waiting for yet another delayed flight. This is infuriating.
"CDC says only vulnerable people have to wear a mask now."
"If you've had Covid, the CDC is talking about you. You're vulnerable people now."
This is excellent messaging

@E__Diaz I’ve never been to Honduras, but it’s on my list. I have a life in the US that I can’t bring with me (family, friends, career). So I’m not running away from the country, but I would certainly like to see its major issues fixed, and I’m doing what I can to help facilitate that ☺️
Every time I travel to a “third world” country, people at home ask me if I’m concerned about my safety. I always like to remind them that in literally every country I’ve been to, I’m safer from gun violence than I am in the US. But happy 4th or whatever 🙄
