@JenayCalender@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Jenay!
Although figuring out how to navigate and create a google site was difficult, I also think it was a rewarding quest. I am glad I can now use google sites in the future to organize my work and future classroom materials.
@NormaRamos27407@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Norma!
I recently found out what Nearpod is and I think it is a great tech tool for students to use. I like how students can collaborate and interact with one another.
@julia_csub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Julia, I also like that FLIP allows students time to think about their answers instead of responding immediately. I also like that students can access their peers responses to the prompt so they can learn from each other!
@kathy_esquivel3@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Kat!
I also really like using Discord. It is a great place to communicate with peers and share your ideas and get help if needed. I never knew Discord allows you to hold video meetings so that great to know.
@j_moreno63 @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Jorge!
How was subbing? I plan to start substitute teaching in the fall and can use all the tips you have! 9th-12th grade math sounds amazing and i'm glad you have found a passion for working with older students!
@wyorkcsub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi William, I think it's awesome that you have already gotten 3 years of experience in the classroom. I am looking forward to hearing some of the tech tools you currently use. Good luck with the credential program and hoping you get hired on permanently in the near future!
@IsabelM_CSUB @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Isabel!
Google Sites has also improved my understanding of technology in education. Before this class, I didn't know it was that easy to create your own website. I am so glad I have learned how to navigate google sites because I can now easily organize my work!
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A4: I think Tech Quest #14 has been the most rewarding. I hope to be a K-3rd teacher, so creating a class dojo will be a great tool for me use to share moments and lesson with parents. I can also privately chat with parents which I think is great! @JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
@julia_csub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Julia!
I have never heard of Pear Deck, it sounds like a great tech tool. I like how it allows students add video, audio, quizzes, and Q&As to their presentations for a more interactive experience. Thank you for introducing me to this tech tool!
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A3: A student led activity that uses tech is students using Google slides to create an engaging presentation on an educational topic. This activity addresses writing, speaking, listening, and reading because students will research, create, and present their slides. #csubEDTE4200
@aj_CSUB@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Ashley! I also think Zoom has been most popular for virtual education. Students and teachers can easily communicate with one another and share screens to further understanding on assignments or class materials!
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A2: Google Classroom has become extremely popular in education recently. Teachers can post important readings, videos, or assignments for their students. Students and teachers can also communicate through this platform, which I think great! @JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200@csubted
@j_moreno63 @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Jorge! I also really like using Flip. It has definitely gotten me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to become more comfortable with speaking to others virtually. Flip would be a great tech resource to use in your classroom because students can easily interact with peers.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A1: My favorite technology resource I have learned about this summer is Flip. Flip is a great tool to use in your classroom because students are able to communicate and share their opinions and voices through video recordings. #csubEDTE4200@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Introductions: Hello, My name is Emily! I am currently working towards my multiple subject credential. I hope to teach any grade from K-3rd. I plan on substituting in the fall to gain more experience in the classroom. @csubted@JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
