@RedbirdFarmhand Idk. Its a fan's game. It has no meaning other than fans get to see the players that want to see play. Sure, I'd rather see the "best" players there but I'm just one fan.
@TheWayOfWade@STL_Stats_Facts For controllable starters that are worth acquiring the cost will be far from reasonable. The impending lockout of '27 makes me lean towards going for it, but I'm not convinced it's a good idea.
@ToeKneeB19@IamScottSinger1 Its the same reason the Cardinals left him available in the rule 5 this year. Its way too early, but no one thought he would be anything. Every team in baseball passed on him in the draft.
@JMcFall07@RedbirdFarmhand Fielding percentage is important but far from the entire picture. If you cant get to balls then your total chances are going to be less. Making errors on balls that are hit right at you is much different than going to your left or right and making an error.
@JMcFall07@RedbirdFarmhand Blaze has negative value as third baseman. He has no instincts and if it was possible he would be graded as negative range. He's a statue and will cost them runs on D. His bat will most likely make up the difference plus, but there is no universe that he is better on D.
@Frontierman22@jcoop1260@joshjaco98 Unfortunately our fan base seems to be in love with the letters DFA. The casuals would have sent Walker away during his first season and definitely in the second.
@Bret66368518@joshjaco98 It would have, and will, look different once they have a stretch of facing righties. Crooks has been up for 9 games and they have faced a lefty in 4 of those. Of the 5 righties Crooks has started 4.
