Congrats Maebel @Tigrayact for a great job hosting @AsstSecStateAF with regard to #WomenOfHorn issues!
I’m disappointed about the response of the @AsstSecStateAF about your #Eritrea question. What is the US doing about all the havoc #Eritrea is creating?

"It is comforting to learn that, the military operation didn't result in as severe consequences as originally feared to be. There was stoke of a huge bloodbath..." @DanielBekele speaks about #TigrayGenocide while the regime was massacring Tigrayans.

.@DanielBekele worked tirelessly to cover up crimes committed against Tigrayans and, hindering credible independent investigations. It is only now, as his own ethnic group is targeted, that he has chosen to speak out. A true human rights champion.

@ProfKindeya While you are at it, could you also tell us how many students are still out of school? When do you expect them to be back to school? What is your admin/party doing to ensure that all Tigrayan children are back to their homes and schools?
The 8th grade regional exam of #Tigray has began today. More than 120,000 students are registered. My appreciation goes to all those involved in the preparation. All the best to our students.
Mebrihit is 27 years old and the war changed her forever. From the outbreak of the conflict in 2020 she discovered how is hell on earth.
On 28 November 2020, three Eritrean soldiers raped her in the village of Mariam Shewito, near the town of Adwa.

🚨What’s worrisome is not only the public endorsement of Daniel & his EHRC for work that endangered thousands of #Tigrayans but also the fact that @StateDept@AsstSecStateAF don’t tell us anything they are demanding of him & EHRC. Does EHRC open office in #Tigray? @MikeHammerUSA
We saw the HIV epidemic take off also in the Rwanda genocide when 0.5 million women were raped. Genocidal violence doesn’t just end when fighting stops #Tigray. Why genocide is called a crime against humanity is partly because it’s legacy continues to shape/alter generations.
