We have a totally empty Dropbox for English Language and English Literature resources, KS3 - KS5. No catch. Nothing to share at the moment because it's empty! This is free and will always be free. Email [email protected] to upload. We'll grant access for self-uploading shortly.
@RealGingerella@Team_English1 My KS3 LTPs are here if any use. We have 'core' & 'skills' KS3 - core for main curriculum/ skills for Bedrock (vocab programme) & reading/writing. Adapted from best of the brilliant @Team_English https://t.co/s3AioQMp9N
This thread is good dust for teachers: a customer tells Tesco they’ve missed an apostrophe. Tesco says that it has not because there is no contraction. Who is right?
https://t.co/3II1Obi0rJ The second of three blogs about knowledge and GCSE English Language. This blog focuses on: resources, sequencing and context. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks @SPryke2@teachals@ragazza_inglese@Team_English1
Revamping our KS3 curriculum and need some ideas for class readers. Ditching KS3 texts like Private Peaceful etc for more academic texts. We’ve put Animal Farm, Mice and Men, Mockingbird, Journey’s End into KS3 so far. Ideas for other texts would be very welcome! Thx

@AlwaysLearnWeb@Mathew_Lynch44@shadylady222 @TesResources There's nothing untoward in our intentions. We're not even adding people's email addresses for access at the moment. It's download only; we'll do the uploading at first. Of course, we can't tell if somebody has nicked somebody else's resource from Twitter, but *no* site can!
Spelling and Grammar HW sheets. Spellings are organised by spelling pattern. An oldie but a goodie. Help yourself! @Team_English1#TeamEnglish https://t.co/2a0f8hNYn3
@Mathew_Lynch44@shadylady222 We can't. It'll be no different to the old Dropbox in that respect. However, there's no charge & we'll remove any plagiarised resources immediately. We appreciate that this answer may not be good enough for some, but this free sharing space is being put out with good intentions.
@shadylady222 We'll just have to see what happens! Thank you for your advice. People only need to pay for Dropbox if they want the entire folder, of course. It will still be free for those wanting ad hoc downloads.
@AlwaysLearnWeb@LitdriveUK Thank you for the advice. It really is appreciated. The lovely thing about Dropbox is that you don't actually have to pay to subscribe to access the resources, if you're browsing twitter and just downloading what you see.
@shadylady222 Hey. Thanks for the head's up. Initially we're going to check everything. When/if that becomes unmanageable, we'll use plagiarism detection software compatible with Dropbox. Very early days at the moment.
I sometimes question how much (we/teachers) overcomplicate things, students just need to know the plot, characters and message behind the ideas. Of course, that does entail other factors such as writing style, themes, context.
I recommend @MsMaster13 & @shadylady222 blogs!
