Uganda's military @mkainerugaba, are engaged in abduction, arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances, torture, and unlawful detention of political prisoners for a long period on trump-up charges in violations of Uganda's own constitution and international law.

Dan Jarvis @DanJarvisMBE, the new Secretary of State for Defence should terminate Ruhamya Kainerugaba's training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and send him home and suspense security assistance and defence cooperation, including training Ugandan troops, until the Uganda People's Defence Forces @MODVA_UPDF commits to ending repression in support of dictator Museveni, impunity and respect international law and human rights.

@uk_nup UK frequently presents it's self as a defender of democracy and human rights, the reluctancy to speak out about reports of intimidation and abductions raises serious uncomfortable questions. Values that are only invoked when convenient are not principles, they're preferences.
