We’re in day 1 of the @NCSBE Summer Elections Training Conference, and @cstewartiii is giving a great data-driven assessment on Trust in Elections. These are the slides I can’t wait to get my hands on!
Only three months until November! Come to East Regional Library this Saturday, August 3 to register to vote, update your information, or get a voter photo ID. Make sure you are #ReadyToVote! @WakeGov@WCPLOnline@kdalenc
There’s a delay processing uploads on the state’s website. Wake County has been fully uploaded since 10:54pm, with the first batch happening at 10:14pm, yet we’re only seeing 81 of our 212 precincts. The delay is at least 30 minutes!
Polls close at 7:30pm! Any voter in line by that time will be allowed to cast their ballot.
Unofficial results will be posted as they become available.
Find your polling place and a link to the unofficial results at https://t.co/pzTSET3PQa! #ElectionDay#WakeCounty#ReadyToVote
4) Results will be later than you’re used to. Early Voting is under the same rules as Election Day Voting so tabulation will happen once we close the polls at 7:30pm. After that we will begin uploading precincts. This is happening all over the state, so prepare for delays! /4
Happy Super Tuesday!!! Here’s some things to remember as you go and vote today…
1) It’s a partisan primary. You vote the ballot of the party you’re registered with. UNA will choose which ballot they want to vote. They will get that same ballot if we have a 2nd primary. /1
3) Check out your voting information at https://t.co/15lXDCQfws. Find your precinct and download your sample ballot so you’re ready when you arrive to vote! /3
It's Election Day! Polls open at 6:30 AM and will close at 7:30 PM. Find your Election Day Polling Place and view a sample ballot here: https://t.co/K180qpARX6

Day #2 of the @NCSBE Conference and Patrick Gannon is giving a great presentation on how we as board members and staff can interact with the media to get our messages across in the most effective ways.
Kudos to @NCSBE for putting together this panel with @TimBoyumTV, @chriscooperwcu, and @BowTiePolitics. They’re giving straight facts about polarization in NC politics!
