@doomslide Tbh the sheer volume of long-standing problems suddenly solved is sufficient to showcase the AI's capabilities - what are the odds that even half of them would have been solved by humans within this decade? Of course, that doesn't absolve OAI from giving credit where it is due.

@markusdd5 Nu, es gibt eine große Zahl an Leuten, die es unfair finden, wenn Leute mit mehr Geld sich mehr/besseres leisten können. Argumente, dass die privat Versicherten die Versorgung für alle anderen querfinanzieren, prallen ab. Wenn die Mehrheit das will, darf sie darunter leiden.

@benlandautaylor I think that to many people, one of the key aspects of what constitutes great literature is a human pouring their soul into it, which is per definitionem impossible for an AI, but AI can certainly generate text that we would regard as great literature if it came from a human
