Janelle Wood @ForumMothers — who owns micro schools and works for the ADE — is pushing the revised ESA handbook before contract holders have even seen it, using a personal email and pretending to be an advocate.

Why is she up to no good again? This is a blatant conflict of interest and a sneaky power play to rush approval for her own benefit. Families deserve better than this shady, self-serving nonsense.

At this point, we might as well change our name to “The Lies of Tom Horne.”

During the Town Hall last night, it became crystal clear that the ADE and the Executive Director of the ESA program are not equipped to run this program correctly. They muted parents when the questions got tough, avoided real answers, and made it clear they’d rather send families to court than offer a clear, usable handbook.

Tom Horne @RealTomHorne even flat-out lied and claimed that legislators had nothing to do with the parent-driven handbook—when we know that’s not true.

John Ward @azedschools admitted his staff isn’t trained to support associated goods requests for students with disabilities and said they don’t have the capacity to help. Yet they found the budget to hire Janelle Wood @ForumMothers as an outreach coordinator—while families still can’t get basic support or answers.

There’s a lot more that could be said, but the bottom line is this: Arizona needs new leadership at both the Superintendent level and within the ESA department.
