Jewish residents of Edgware held their ground and stopped the pro Palestinians from reaching the synagogue. The protesters simply didn’t expect the large numbers of Jews to turn out. Police now escorting them back to Edgware tube station.

When you land in Israel, you see Muslims everywhere - working in offices, relaxing on beaches, praying in mosques, living freely.
When you visit Arab states, Jewish sites are museums to vanished Jewish communities chased out long ago.
But yeah, sure, Israel is "Apartheid".
The antisemites are going to be outside Edgware United Synagogue this morning at 11.30am, just as kids as leaving their Sunday school.
There’s an event selling property in Israel. People want to go because they are worried there’s no future for Jews in the UK.
It was rumoured the organisers were selling property in the West Bank.
This has been denied by the organisers.
That hasn’t stopped Sadiq Khan and other MPs from riling up hatred about it.
The nastiest antisemites in Britain are going to be there protesting it and some pro Israel groups including @StopTheHate_UK will be there to protect it. They welcome all support.
1929. No occupation. No oppression. No State of Israel.
Arabs massacred Jews in Hebron. So if the oppression causes the terror, explain that.
And while you're at it, explain why the Arabs rejected a state in 1947.
Reportedly, the US believes Iran when it says, with a straight face, that it won’t now pursue a nuclear weapons programme (the lie it’s told for four decades).
US Vice-President JD Vance says, with a straight face, that every war including WW2 ended with a negotiated settlement.
Are all these Trump administration staffers total imbeciles? No. They’re treating everyone else as an imbecile. They’re redefining victory and surrender to cover the fact that they’re proposing to surrender to Iran and pluck defeat from the jaws of victory.
If the idea is that, once the oil price comes down and the mid- terms are behind it, the US will return to war with a bunch of reinvigorated, resupplied and pumped-up apocalypticists, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. This is how the free world dies. @realDonaldTrump
Media coverage of Israel in the context of Hezbollah’s attacks from Lebanon has been deeply skewed and misleading.
The Iranian regime and its terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, have been waging a sustained campaign against Israel from Lebanese territory, launching thousands of attacks on communities in northern Israel. As a result, millions of Israeli civilians have lived under constant threat, daily life has been severely disrupted, and tens of thousands of residents have been forced to leave their homes.
Yet major international outlet - including AP, Reuters, The New York Times, CNN, NBC, CBC, and France 24 - have overwhelmingly focused on the Lebanese side of the story while largely ignoring the impact on Israeli civilians.
An analysis conducted between June 3-10 of 750 articles published across 14 leading international media outlets found that Israeli civilian suffering accounted for just over 1% of total coverage.
A former antizionist changed his mind after looking at who is indigenous to the land of Israel:
‘If Jews remain in the places into which they were exiled, they are not decolonizing nor are they experiencing self-determination — they are occupying the Indigenous lands of others. If Jews stay in Brooklyn, they are occupying Lenape land. If they go back to Poland, they are occupying Polish land. Only in Israel are Jews on Jewish land.
Hence, establishing and returning to Israel is decolonization. The only way the conflict can ever move forward, is if all parties accept this fact. To Jews, this is non-negotiable. The alternative — that Jews remain in exile, only to be murdered and subjugated for another 2000 years — is simply unacceptable.’

So @SadiqKhan - London's Mayor - has a problem with an event selling Israeli property to British Jews.
Khan said this event should not be allowed.
At a time of horrific antisemitism, and with Jews gathering at an event tomorrow - Khan has fuelled opposition, that could well lead to violent protest.
Jews buying property in Israel is too much for him.
Yet Khan never says a word about events in London where property is sold on Turkish Cyprus.
This is land the British claim is illegally occupied. Events take place all the time in London selling property in Turkish Cyprus - and notably our Mayor stays silent.
Sadiq Khan only has a problem with land in the Jewish state.
There is a word for this.
Anyone else notice they keep posting images of the jailed Palestine Action terrorists holding pet animals to make them look homely & cuddly.
Far better to post images of them using a sledgehammer to smash the spine of a police officer.
After all - this is why they are in jail.
The film 'Zone of Interest' is about how Nazi Rudolf Höss and his wife live in a house right next to an extermination camp he helped create.
Make no mistake: @guardian columnist Arwa Mahdawi, in evoking that film in her demonisation of the Jewish actress for an advert she did for an apt building 50 miles from Gaza, is promoting the Israel-Nazi analogy and vilifying all Israeli Jews (and Paltrow herself) as accessories to evil and genocide.
Another example of how the outlet fuels antisemitism.
Alkhatib: “Hamas’ 20‑year rule was sustained by an ecosystem of European governments, journalists, academics, lawyers, and self‑styled human‑rights defenders who normalized Hamas or tolerated its abuses because their hostility toward Israel outweighed their concern for Gazans.”
This is how much the Palestine mob hates the Jewish state.
The biggest cause of death in hospitals is sepsis.
@PalantirTech has managed to halve sepsis deaths in a hospital in Florida where it has been operating pioneering technology.
But Palantir’s contract with the NHS has a break clause, and activists are urging the Government to use it because of the company’s supposed connections to the US and, you guessed it, the Jewish state.
Whatever the merits or otherwise of the contract itself, rejecting potentially life-saving technology in this way is cutting off your nose to spite your face – and being indifferent to the wound developing sepsis.
How high a cost are ordinary Britons prepared to pay for this activist hatred? The price could be measured in lives.

This is beyond surreal. Jewish people gather in London in 2026 and it needs insane levels of state protection to try to keep them safe.
This is the result of decades of state cowardice and appeasement in the face of growing Islamist movements in the UK

An open letter to @TheLancet from an Iranian-Jewish cardiologist.
Today, one of the world's most prestigious medical journals published a campaign to suspend the Israeli Medical Association from the World Medical Association — the body founded after WWII to ensure physicians would never again be weaponized by political ideology.
I'm a cardiologist. I'm an Iranian Jew who grew up under a regime where medicine was subjugated to the state.
What The Lancet just did is a disgrace to my profession.
Here's what they published — and what they deliberately left out.
Meet orthodontist Mustafa Al-Ghoul, head of the UNRWA Gaza Staff Union that met now with UNRWA's @CFSaundersUN.
They’re outraged after we pressured UNRWA into firing 70 staff tied to Hamas terrorism.
Naturally, Al-Ghoul is himself closely tied to Hamas: https://t.co/TsKKocBj8U
Was the Belfast assailant shouting about Jews while allegedly attempting to behead his victim?
We are providing the source video so that you can make up your own mind, but we have pixellated it due to its extremely violent and graphic nature.
Our investigators believe that the assailant in the video is shouting: “Ya yahoodi, Ya yahoodi, ta’al awsif!”, which translates from Arabic as “O Jew, O Jew, come and record/let me show you!”
We have made this assessment with medium confidence (higher confidence on the reference to Jews).
It is not clear whether the reference to ‘Jew’ – which is often used as a derogatory term in Arabic – was being used in relation to the victim or to the onlookers, whom the assailant may have been goading, or whether it was being used more generally as a battlecry.
If this analysis is correct, it would chillingly indicate that there may have been an antisemitic motivation or undertone in this heinous incident, over which Hadi Alodid from Sudan has been charged. At the very least, it indicates that the extremism that is now afflicting us all in the West is strongly related to the explosion of antisemitism that is targeted at Jews.
By failing to crack down on antisemitic extremism, the authorities have permitted an environment of violent hostility to Jews, which has in turn emboldened extremists – both home-grown and imported – to come for us all.
The victim, Stephen Ogilvie, probably had no connection to Judaism whatsoever, until the man allegedly trying to behead him started to shout about Jews.
Jibril Rajoub is being described as a “Palestinian”(Arab) soccer official denied U.S. entry for the World Cup. That framing leaves out the most important part of his record.
Rajoub was convicted in Israel for a 1970 grenade attack on an Israeli army bus near Hebron and sentenced to life in prison. He was later released in a prisoner exchange before becoming one of the most prominent Arab political figures operating inside international football.
This is also the same “Palestinian”(Arab) Football Association chief who refused to shake hands with Israel Football Association Vice President Basim Sheikh Suliman at the FIFA Congress in Vancouver on April 30, after FIFA President Gianni Infantino tried to bring the two officials together. Rajoub has spent years using international sport as another arena for political warfare against Israel.
The U.S. has not publicly stated the specific reason for denying his visa, and that distinction matters. But the coverage should not sanitize who he is by reducing him to a sports administrator.
A man convicted in an attack on Israeli soldiers should not be laundered through the language of sport, diplomacy, or victimhood. If international institutions are going to treat figures like Rajoub as legitimate representatives, the public deserves to know the record they are choosing to overlook.
@YvetteCooperMP@ukinisrael@jnbarrot@AnitaAnandMP If Arabs in Gaza lay down their arms there will be no more fighting. If Israelis lay down their arms, they will be slaughtered.
. Face the reality Jews are facing. You have no business sticking your oar in other country’s politic. Deal with what’s going on in our own country
