Just popping in to share that I started a new job as an educational researcher at CitoLab (@Cito) yesterday. But also to say that I took a Twitter break over Christmas and it sort of stuck and I don't really feel like coming back. So this is my last tweet until further notice :)
Tonight, this will get national attention.
We have been silent, because we were too angry. Because it was all so predictable, so familiar.

@marcxsmith Natasha Pulley’s character Keita Mori in The Watchmaker of Filligree Street (and sequel) remembers the future. As in, the further away it is, the foggier, then the “memories” become clearer as the future draws nearer (which is also a great rhyme). Really cool!

@JenniRodd And compliments to @fernandaedi and @glossapsycholx for the excellent experience. Never had such a smooth and considerate submission and publication process!
Yay, surprise publication day! Couldn't post much about it before now because of double-blind peer review, but here it is. The last experiment I did with @JenniRodd. Weird mix of happiness 🤩 that it's out and sadness 😢 that it's the end of a chapter. https://t.co/vF2Roh2BQ8
Started using Power BI today for the first time. Hate it already. Why do I have to go through a million steps to do a simple thing like change the sort order of a variable? I miss you, tidyverse!
Paper just got accepted! I know it’s down to luck a lot too, but I feel inordinately proud that this is the fifth without any rejections along the way 😁
