CDF welcomes the release of its National Youth Leader, @Che_Guevara_ZW after spending days in police detention. He has been accused of disorderly conduct and another charge stems from posting pictures of citizens holding yellow cards, an online protest carried out to flag the illegitimacy of CAA3.

These charges have forced him to pay an admission of guilt fine at station rates and he is now free.

CDF maintains that his arrest was illegal and marks a grave affront of constitutional guarantees to freedom of peaceful protest, expression, association and assembly.
