Community education and screening event today in Brighton! @FLKMDMPH@rantocran@BIDMC_Medicine@BIDMC_GenMedRes talking about hypertension. The congregation was grateful for the screening and debrief of their numbers! We learned a lot from the community through the Q&A.
Pete Healy, president of @BIDMChealth, with our GoFresh (https://t.co/4Cx7n2d2Bc) team in the Clinical Research Center! I really appreciate all the institutional support for our work to improve BP with healthy groceries in Boston!

I think if @NEJM@JAMA_current@AnnalsofIM together decided to triage trials with less than 30% Black adults, pharma would be motivated to invest more in Black communities and Black adults could have better access to cutting edge interventions...Perhaps a step toward equity.
Had a great time at #EPILifestyle23. So many groundbreaking findings presented.
Big thanks to @spjuraschek@rantocran and everyone who could pass by my poster!
Next stop: #NOLA for #ACC23. Looking forward to meeting the other members of @ACCinTouch IM cohort.
Fantastic presentation from Philip Akinyelure, PhD candidate @uabSOPH, showing social determinants of health mediate Black-White disparities in incident apparent treatment restsistant hypertension (aTRH) in the #REGARDS study. #EPILifestyle23
Dr. Lori Mosca on “The Power of Patterns, Pioneers and Prevention”. Among others, she discusses the evolution of epidemiology from the Framingham study and the sex differences in CVD identification, presentation and treatment. #LE8#Epilifestyle23#JAHAMeetingReport
This photo perfectly captures my time at #EPILifestyle23 so far! So grateful for the opportunity to work with and be mentored by the amazing Dr. Chiadi Ndumele!
