C, C++, and Java aren't taught first because they're easy.
They're taught first because they force you to understand what's actually happening when your code runs.

You are Ugandan, and most of your former president died before you were born, and died in foreign country... The first "State Funeral" in Uganda will be of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni... It will be historical, so relax. ☺️
@Bricktop_NAFO Cryptobros reap what they sow: they wanted a deeply unregulated anything goes market of assets with no underlying basis in anything, subject to robbery, scams & endless grifters all the way up to @POTUS. Don't be surprised when it bites you in the ass & takes all your money.
building robots isn’t just wiring motors; it’s about brains and coordination.
> this is the framework pros use to make robots sense, plan, and move.
> if you’re serious about robotics, this is where you start.
For those who don’t get the meme, it’s actually straightforward and has a pretty cool backstory.
In WWII, engineers studied returning planes to see where to add armor. At first glance, you’d reinforce the spots riddled with bullet holes. But a mathematician realized the opposite was true — those planes survived *despite* being hit there. The planes that never came back were the ones hit in the untouched areas. Those were the areas that should be reinforced.
It's a classic example of survivorship bias, where you draw conclusions from only the visible “survivors,” ignoring the invisible failures. You see it everywhere. We copy the morning routines of billionaires, forgetting the thousands who followed the same routines and failed. We idolize college dropouts like Jobs and Zuck while ignoring the millions of dropouts who never made it. We look at long-married couples for “secrets,” overlooking the many who did the same things and divorced.
all the great programmers I know, are game developers. coz building 3d worlds isn’t just art, it’s math
> this book gives you the equations behind rendering, physics, lighting, and animation.
> perfect for game devs and graphics programmers who want to code the engine, not just play the game.
JKUAT ACADEMIC BRUTALITY
This (pictured) is Prof. Robert Kinyua (0722330488). The @DiscoverJKUAT Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs (DVC AA).
As a person, I am told, he is a very respected church elder. In @DiscoverJKUAT he is in charge of all academic matters in the university. Besides being a professor and DVC AA, he is also the chair of the university training committee which among other things consider and ratify study leave decisions from the departmental training committees. YES, he is the CHAIR not the committee. However, in the recent past, he is both the chair and the TRAINING COMMITTEE.
Kinyua has been running the office like a domestic kitchen. The guy nicknamed himself "Training committee" and acted so...... Very smart guy indeed. Calling himself for a meeting, making decisions, minuting his monologue and conveying the message on "behalf" of the training committee🤣🤣🤣
It is from him that I learnt that to be a professor you really need to do a lot of supernatural things to make you different from ordinary human beings 🤣🤣🤣
He is also the supposed heir of the throne at JKUAT.
The sad part is that these decisions bears the seal of the university and the office of the DVC AA. @DiscoverJKUAT is shameless in this. It is ONLY after I made noise that he struggled to convene a training committee to sanitize himself and the DVC AA office but it was too late.
After alleging that I had a @VLIRUOS scholarship, I asked him about the scholarship. He shamelessly told me he doesn't know about the scholarship because the information came from HR. By this time, I had investigated the trail of that information and everything was quite clear to me. A friend had even asked me before "Trump, Prof. Sila wrote a letter to cancel your leave. I am very shocked. What did you do to him. I have been seeing him going to the office of the DVC AA, kumbe ni hiyo imekuwa ikimsumbua?"
This was the second person. I managed to have a glimpse of a letter.
When I got a hint of the study leave cancellation, I followed it up. They refused to give me the cancellation letter. They denied existence of such a letter, they said the letter cannot be seen in my file or in the electronic system and such a cancellation do not exist. In short, I was asking for what doesn't exist. Well, these fellows know Trump. So I asked them to release the letter or it will not be business as usual. They went inside, had a short conversation, a lady returned, pulled a drawer and handed me the letter. I left in shock....... The idea was to keep the letter, allow me travel and then release it once I am gone so I could not appeal it. By doing so, they would sack me for absconding duty after 7 days.
In fact some guy was going round saying, Trump akitoka tu atafukuzwa kazi na wiki moja (if Trump leaves, he will be sacked within one week). Everything was well planned. When this backfired everyone got into panic mode. A number lost a few kilos trying to come to terms with what was coming. Is probably the reason no one had an answer to my letters. I was asked to keep quiet so my contract could be renewed; I told them "A man shall not leave on bread alone". My colleague had just suffered from this less than a month ago. She is currently jobless. I could not keep quiet to propagate impunity.
Conclusion: ON A BAD DAY, THE WIND SHALL BLOW AND THE ANUS OF THE CHICKEN SHALL BE SEEN
@AgainstKenyans your first instincts were very correct.
